Hi there,
I lost all my calendar events/entries. Does anyone know what can cause this? and how to get it back?
I entered all my calendar scheudle a few weeks back, then yesterday I decided to delete my google synch from my phone.
Then decided to synch back with google calendar. After syching, from what I recall, the calendar was fine. It was only until the next day did the events disappear from my S planner.
I checked on my phone, s planner, on my desktop, google calendar and the events were gone.
Any idea?
Thanks!

Google calendar from my default email and one I have added will not sync at all, it appears to do so when I want to sync but nothing shows in my calendar, I have the boxes ticked to make them visible. It is fine with emails, for some reason i have had no luck all week with this.
can anyone help? After a factory reset im in the same position.
I have tried htc ynce with outlook but no luck there either...
Since a few days the Google Calendar has some problems, as you can see here:
http://www.google.com/appsstatus
But it doesn't affect all people, e.g. I don't have any problems.
Hey guys,
I have about 8 different calendars setup on Gmail, but for some reason I can only see some of them in the stock calendar app.
I've got Work schedules, kids sports, ToDo, Bills, etc...
Any of you notice it will only sync some calendars? Any way to get all of them to show up?
If I go into the calendar settings on the phone and Calendars at the top, I only have the device, then I have 2 google ones.
Now, some of the calendars are shared with my wife, is it possible that a shared calendar won't sync?
shared calendars should sync to your phone no problem. so that shouldn't be your problem.
i haven't experimented with multiple calendars (on one google account) syncing to my phone.
anyone else?
i do know that yesterday a lot of the google calendar functions were down during the morning. is your calendar fully synced now?
I was having this issue also....clear calender storage under manage applications and it should work. That's what I did and all my calenders come up now

*BOOM* Got it.
You rock.
Hi,
Just a quick question really about the calender app. It seems to not want to automatically sync up with my online google calender? It does it the other way round so when I add an event to my phone and I go open the calender online the event is there. But if I add an event on the online calender I have to manually go into the calender and sync it, anyway to get it to do it automatically?
Thanks.
mine randomly forgets to show me any google calendar entries at all. It worked yesterday after clearing the calendar app data, now it's gone.
My wife's SGS2 seems to be plagued with this problem, totally stock build, keeps forgetting all her google calendar entries and I have to clear the calendar data and manually re-sync.
Doesn't happen on my SGS2 running a Cognition 2.3.4 build though.
Hey,
Until yesterday everything was fine. For some reason I can no longer save calender events in the built in calender app, or digical or the google calender app. Whenever my phone syncs a new calender event (I sync via google), the event gets deleted. I the other direction (when I enter a new event on my computer via web google calender or iCal for Mac) the event gets saved and there is no problem. All events that I saved before yesterday are still viewed normally.
Android 4.2.2
Model number FP1
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Thank you!
G'day Team,
Has anyone found a way to get the Always on Display to show the next event from your Outlook Calendar?
I understand it will show the next event from the Google Calendar in Android 9 and have this working correctly however I want to display my Outlook calendar.
I've tried adding my outlook calendar to the Google calendar from within the app (which works in terms of showing the appointments within the app) but the Always on Display will only display events created within the Google Calendar directly.
I love this feature (as an ex-Windows Phone user) but use Office 365\Outlook not Google Calendar.
Any suggestions on how to get around this??
Many Thanks!
I am looking for the same, but I guess AOD is designed to show only Google Calendar events. On a side note, how did you manage to add outlook calendar within Google Calendar app?

you need to share your outlook calendar with either the google calendar or samsung calendar, you can go in google calendar, settings, manage calendar, add ouutlook calenar (put in your username/passoword) if its your personal email calendar, it will show up, if its your corporate calendar, your company would have disabled sharing of calendar for security reasons, and it will give error. check if you can share your corporate calendar to your gmail id. usually its blocked.
was able to successfully show the corporate calendar on AOD, go to the outlook app on your android, and select sync calendars, enable the toggle. it will sync the outlook calendar with the samsung calendar and it will show up on your AOD, just tried it on my s22 plus it works. after hrs of tinkering around.

Considering the Pixel 2XL isn't a Samsung device and doesn't have Samsung apps on board, he'd have to share the calendar with Google Calendar.
Not to mention that we both replied to a post that was dead and buried four years ago.
