hello.
i've just installed Domination for HTC one X, using the following link: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/unoff...-1-jelly-bean-with-domination-rom-based-cm10/
aaaaand i have a couple of questions.
1. Trebuchet stops working. but i've only come across this issure when im in the menu, browsing thru my apps, then i reach the widget section, and it is now 30/30 times it stops working when i reach the widget page. so my question is: anyone who knows how to work out this issure or knows what curses it or anything ?
2. am i completely wrong when i say that the battery drains even faster now ? any thoughts about that ?
3. any of you guys knows if its possible to disable the volume keys on the side of the phone when its up and running (not when starting up, cuz then i cant get into the Hboot)

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has run into these issues, I mentioned them in a thread but decided to make a new post. this happens in both roms
1) Is anyone having issues that some contacts in the messaging client (HTC) lose their pix and you see a sim card instead of their photo? If so anyone know how to stop this?
2) Sometimes when hitting send after writing a txt msg, the screen right away goes black where you have to hit the power button to bring the screen back on.
3) Anyone notice that with this rom, the home weather screen is slower then the stock eu 6.5 with 2.1 manila? Seems it has something to do with the clock, because if you slide the clock up and show only the clock in the bar the weather animation plays just as the demo does (Especially the rain and wiper blade). Can someone check to see if the home page possibly has a memory leak or bad coding? And is there a way to change the flip clock easily to not flip or to a different clock on these roms?
4) Anyone notice during a call there is no way to get to the call history from the dial pad or anywhere? if you know please enlighten me.
5)Anyone figure out how to make the htc sms program bump up the writing section instead of it taking its time?
6) I tried using the SDKCert cab, and it seems to me that it messed up my Sea rom install. Anyone know of another way to re-map the keyboard for an ATT Tilt 2?
Any help or guidenance would be greatly appreciated. And any help I can give I will, I have a spare HTC tilt 2 phone and can test anything out. right now trying to figure out why MSVC doesnt read back txt msgs with another senior member. Hopefully we can get this to work I need that!
No one else has these problems?
Okay here is another one, anyone figure out how when you get a txt msg and hit the msg tab it goes to the first msg and not be stuck on the last msg you read on the msg tab?

I am having issues with mine also.....
i am actually having a bit of a hard time with the new HTC 2.5 ROM.
I have read through the threads and it seems other people are having the same problems.
i.e.- sms very slow-
speakerphone bug- once activated the other person cannot hear you, you have to turn off speakerph and turn on again for them to hear you.
I hard reset but still get the same problems.
I think after I try a few more tweaks I will be able to post a good assessment so others will "hopefully" not have to deal with the same problems.
I hard reset to clear everything and then flashed the ROM again. Took care of some problems.
I installed your Volume Settings cab from another post to take care of the low vol prob.
After flashing the ROM the speakerphone is working. ..
1) I have not had a problem with the contacts
2) I am still having this problem with the text msg
3)To fix the Home screen issues- I installed Cookies Home Tab and his editor
4) Haven't noticed the during call problem but will check it out
5) I installed SMS chat cab to help with the text problems and also disabled the HTC msgng. it is still slow but not as slow
6)I used the Tilt 2 Keyboard fix....
Hey guys,
Just a simple question. I'm running the newest version of fresh (idk the exact numbers) and ever since my newest update to the current version, my home page sometimes has to reload itself after touching the default "home" button on the lower left corner of the screen. This is just an annoyibg little thing that only lasts about 10 seconds, and it will always reload. I just dont know why. Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks
Hi guys!
I wanted to share a quite annoying thing I've noticed since installing the new stock gingerbread.
In short: my phone cannot be turned off. In addition it took me about a week to find it out properly, because it acts like switching off. There are two strange things: 1. it seems quite fast when switching on (it is actually, but it is more like returning from sg. like sllep/stand-by mode), 2. my battery was drained during the nights.
Now I have to enter boot menu, and select power off there.
I tried to search forums (this one and from other sites as well) but I couldn't find anybody else who experienced the same. So be aware of this new software, particularly because your phone cannot be downgraded or rooted yet (I hope someone finds a solution for this too).
Any ideas?
Thanks.
I think it's to do with Fast boot. You could turn it off and try.
Settings/ Applications and it's at the bottom.
Thanks a lot, I tried and it solved my problem immediately.
Actually it is quite embarassing, because it was only one single click. I couldn't remember of this fast boot option from FroYo, now my phone is usable again.
Thank once more!
Lol, that's the fastboot feature, which can be turned off.

Hey guys,
I've been having issues with the Widgetlocker lockscreen recently, and was wondering if any of this will ring a bell with someone.
I recently flashed the KJ2 2.3.5 ROM (the XEU non-wipe Frankenstein one), and i've also flashed CF-Root and then the Speedmod kernel. I'm in the UK, on O2 (debranded to XEU) and i have no issues with the phone whatsoever. I even get great battery life. It's just this damn widgetlocker issue that's grating on me!
For some reason when i wake the phone up and try to unlock it by using the slider (i just use the default 'Android' one for unlocking - the only other things i have are a couple of widgets for missed calls & texts and a battery % one) a lot of the time the slider does not repond to touch. It doesn't always happen, but maybe a good one out of every three times it happens. And the weird part is, if i then just wait about 5 seconds, then it suddenly responds and i can unlock the phone. Obviously having another 5 seconds on top of the already present lag when pressing the home button is not good, and because of this i'm thinking of not using WL anymore.
I've been through all of the settings, i'm almost 100% sure it's not something in there. Can anyone help with this?
Cheers guys.
Happens with me too sometimes. Another issue is if you keep pressing Menu button 4-5 times the phone gets unlocked and takes you to the home screen.
Hey, just wanted to post that i finally figured out what the problem was.
I'm using an .apk to help with the touchscreen sensitivity. See vitalij's thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18999801#post18999801
Well it turns out on 2.3.5 vitalij's .apk has some issues with the most up-to-date superuser. The solution, so far, isn't great but gets the job done, is to uninstall the .apk, and then re-install. The important part is not to click on 'enable service' in the app! So basically each time you want to use the app you have to open it and hit 'apply' on whatever setting you need. The setting will work until you next turn the screen off. For me this workaround is actually ok, as the only time i ever really used it was for the odd game, so i'm happy to just do it manually on these occassions.
disable root helper
madrano, can you expand on what you mean by this? i have tried enabling & disabling root helper but if i remember correctly the problem was still there.
Hello xda,
I've rooted my M9 the other day, I'm currently running stock Sense [5.1, I believe the latest update] with Xposed. One of the many things I did with it was changing the amount of volume steps (when you've got a phone this loud, 15 steps is a joke imo). I did so through GravityBox as XVolume 30 I've used on my Nexus 4 doesn't seem to work here.
The thing works perfectly when I use the phone, however in Dotview things start to break.
As any dotview case user knows, upon changing the volume with physical buttons an icon of a speaker is shown alongside with a blue volume bar. However the said bar apparently has been programmed by HTC to show no more than 15 steps and changing the volume to any more than that just literally freezes the dotview interface to a point where the only thing you can do with the phone is restarting it via Power+Vol Up (everything under dotview works but there is no way of accessing it).
I've searched through XDA and found nothing on the topic, but I can't believe this is something very uncommon. Maybe I'm just searching it wrong . Has anybody found a fix for this? I've decompiled the HtcDotMatrix.apk out of curiosity (the code is not obfuscated) but I'm not a java dev so I didn't understand much and even if I did, I wouldn't really be able to do anything.
Thanks in advance for the replies
