Need help with playing music in my car - HTC One X

I've got a Megan which has a USB port in the glovebox. If I put a USB stick with music on it will play ok. What set up do I need for my hox to do this ?
Would the music need to be in a certain folder ?
Thanks I'm advance

It wont work.
You could do what I did and get a aux cable and just plug it into both headphones (hox + car)
Presuming your cd player has a headphone slot that is

Thought as much aux it is then. Thanks

I'm 99% sure that you need the headphones to act as the antennae.
I know it uses the headphones as an antenna but is it possible some how to have the headphones plugged in but have the sound play thru speakers?

Yes, as long as you have the headphones plugged in you can you either the phone speakers or the head phones. But not both at once. There is a button to left of the power button inside of the FM Radio app that when you press it, it plays through the phone speakers.
Thanks, I can't believe I missed that. I feel stupid, thanks alot.

I'm 100% sure you need the headphones to as as the antenna.
Well, back in Touch Pro 2 days, some people had success sticking a stylus or other objects into the USB port, to act as an antenna. But that of course is a pretty sketchy idea.

Using phone audio only blue tooth for media

Would this be possible?

I'm not even sure what you're trying to do... Are you trying to stream music to something?
This should have been asked in q&a or general... But at any rate provide more info about what you're trying to do so we can try to help.

Ya, I wanted to know if I could stream pandora to a regular blue tooth head set. When you connect it it says connected to phone audio, when I connect to my blue tooth speaker bar it says connected to media audio. Is there a way to trick the phone into connecting media audio to a phone only BT device?

That should do what you want... There's a paid version that's only $1 but you can use the free one to make sure it does what you want

I've tried the super bt mono app without much luck lately. With more than one headset. Been trying to get it to work so I can integrate it with my home stereo, I know there's better options out there but I had a couple spare headsets laying around.

External Speakers ?

I was wondering if it was possible to hook up speakers to the galaxy tab.
This is what I would like to do.
Dock the galaxy tab on the wall and use it to play music. which will be played using wired speakers in the kitchen or something like that.
is this possible?
thanks in advance.
Have you thought of using Bluetooth or are you looking for premium sound quality?

Speakers like an audio system? Or just 2 cheap speakers for pc?
I will be getting the Denon AVR3312CI which a multiroom system. I would like to use my tab to play the music from my tab to the speakers.
Or atleast connect to 2 speakers in my kitchen or outside.

You can use any adjustable car mount. Most will fit the note's broad shoulders. As far as hoking it up to your car stereo..it depends on the inputs available. a straight 3.5 to 3.5mm cable should do the trick. They are cheap on amazon.

Xperia S Media Center

Hi there.
I am going to make a media center runned from my xperia s.
And I am going to make a stand for it.
My plan is this:
HDMI cable to flatscreen
Audio from 3,5 jack to my amplifier and therefore my speakers.
I just flashed custom rom (XTZexperience 2) wich allows navigation bar because it is gonna be controlled with my mouse and keyboard.
Emulators etc. will be installed and controlled with DualShock 3.
Followings are still question marks:
Wich is best way to connect bluetooth keyboard and mouse? USB or is it possible to connect them straigt to phone without any bluetooth receivers plugged to USB because if so how I can charge at the same time?
And will any bluetooth keyboard and mouse do?
And is it possible that clicking them wakes and unlocks the screen?
Thank you and sorry for my bad english.
Will update soon!

You need a dock to connect keyboard and mouse in the same time.

What does that mean? Why?

Phone won't give you so much voltage as dock. But if you want to connect it with bt you also need dock to recognize your keyboard, mouse and HDMI in the same time.

Yes you can connect them without because some mouses and keyboards are built to not have receiver.

You can use your hdmi out port connected straight to your receiver with hdmi cable so that you get HD video and multichannel audio (with new JB update it finally works), 3.5mm audio jack is waste of cable space.....
