Hey guys, was just wondering where can we buy the stock charger and data cable that came with the phone?
Preferably from Australia! Thanks guys.
There is nothing special in a stock charger. You can buy any charger with micro-USB cable. For fast charging it should be marked 2.0A or higher. Also you can use iPad charger with USB-microUSB cable.
Thanks for your input! But it does not answer my question haha

Hi,
I'm in deep sh*t, I lost a part of my luggage, where all the chargers for my phones and my laptop and the data cable for my SGS2...
In order to save on buying both a charger and a data cable (as on SGS2, they are separate), I'd like to ask, whether I could buy an
SGS4 charger ? Would it not do any harm to my batter on the long haul ? I know that the SGS4 charger is made of a USB data cable,
which is then plugged just in a socket connector...
Thanks!

my understanding is that so long as the output voltage is the same (5.0V) and the max output current on the charger is rated 0.7A (or above), you should be in good shape. I even occasionally use my ipad usb charger + usb data cable to charge my s2.
Yea most USB chargers should be fine. Heck, I'm using a $7 generic one I got from a local store because mine always break and it works fine.
I agree with Bigtonyman, using most microUSB charger is fine. Only output voltage must be 5V
I am charging daily my SII with: original charger 700mA (home), Nokia charger 950mA (parents) and occasionaly with china car lighter charger 1000mA, and from computer USB port.
I have my original battery 1,5 year old, and the battery time is similar to when it was new.
Has anyone found an incar charger that actually works? I have used the official lg cable with a cigarette lighter adapter and it simply says its slow charging with a usb charger. was using the satnav and it just constantly lost power instead of charging
cheers
I'm using this. You might need to condition your phone for it though so it can charge as quick as the stock LG wall charger.

I find the problem usually to be more about the cable then the charger. Most car chargers claim to be 2.1a these days, but often the cable just can't keep up. The one I ordered is no longer in stock, but it's similar to this one:
ok, the system won't let me post links.. search amazon for 20awg usb charge cable
Cheers guys, I'll take a look
I use the iOttie Easy Flex wireless charging car mount. Best $40 ever spent on a car charger
I use Anker IQ 2 port 24W car charger. Main problem with charging LG G3 is usually bad cable quality. Use good cable and you'll always charge successfully.
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
Even if I've used my original g3 cable with an in car adapter it didn't charge. Anyway, I got one off eBay whilst waiting for options above and so far it's working great.
Most in-car chargers are delivering 1A output, LG wall charger for G3 is 5V 1.8A. I use an in-car charger with both 1A and 2A outputs (twin), the latter, 2A connection, does its job well (which actually is for charging tablets like iPad in car). Shortly, if you want to get an effect like in LG wall-charger case you should care on the output current of charger.
Hello guys,
I need a charging cable for Moto X1. Need some suggestions in it. What you think is the best compatible charging cable for x1?
Regards,
Rishi
Any cable with Anker charger will charge at max rate, but the longer cables might charge slower due to voltage drop.

Anker is not available where I live. (India) I saw people posted about Anker charger. But damn thing is not available here. Any other alternatives?
AmazonBasics cable?
Hi.
Two questions:
1. Where should I look for one?
Found this on Ali-express but wanted your opinion:
http://bit.ly/2ze7U2U
2. Regarding the cable: are all cables the same? Or is this (in link - the one that comes with the OPO) different (can move more current)?
Trying to save where I can
Thank you!

Thank you for this.
I have been using a 5V 2.1A charger (from Belkin) but with a "regular" old Samsung micro-usb cable and it took 6 hours to charge till full.
I can't imagine it's right.
Perhaps a new, more powerful cable?
Also, how long should it take to fully charge the One?
Thank you!!! :good:

if you use cable that support fast charge you can charge your phone less then 2 hour...just get a cable that support fast charge or support quick charge 2.0 and you will see the difference....
getting a good cable makes all the difference. I'm not sure if it is due to Lineage, firmware or the kernel... but my OPO has been very picky with the charging cable for at least the last 9 months. I first noticed this when my Jaybird Bluebuds X flat short cable charged significantly faster (then i lost the cable). then on some cables, it would say it's charging but the percentage would remain constant or even drop at a slower rate! I then tried different cables and charger combinations using the the AccuBattery app and OPO Charging Current app to note the ampere.
the xiaomi fast charging micro usb 1.2m flat cable is cheap and charges "fast". I highly recommend the xiaomi cable (i even bought like 4 of them for the office and for home).
paired with new-ish samsung quick charge chargers (which came with the S7 and C5 Pro that i had lying around), i get about 1.58A (screen off).... i also get comparable results with an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 charger from like 2011 and an ipad 3 charger.

Thank you all for the great information!!!
Are you guys approve of this cable:

well I went with blitzwolf ...I don't use my original charger as blitzwolf is faster(just a tad but still) ...BW-S5 is my main and I've ordered an BW-S9(I'll make BW-S5 a second to charge my phone in my shop and also charge clients phones/tablets if needed - I fix them too)
BW-S5 has an extended review from a dude with all the pros and cons ...great review if you want to look at it(he'll do the S9 as well but didn't receive it yet and I couldn't wait, I needed a good 2nd one)
P.S. Using custom cable made by me to avoid getting slow charges(only power cable, no data - for safety too)
I'm on this charger: http://s.aliexpress.com/qeaIfIrE and reversible micro USB cable from the same manufacturer (reversible micro usb seems to be not available to buy any longer though, I can see regular micro usb only)
Both are excellent.
Reccomend a Anker Charger
Anker makes good chargers..

Can we hear more about your custom cable?
Chotech SMT0008 5V/2.4A charger
Hi anybody who want to use a longer cable (1.8m -3m) without losing the charging speed, I would recommend Chotech SMT0008 5V/2.4A charger. You would be able to increase the charging speed up to 10-15%.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CHO...er-for-iPhone-Samsung-Xiaomi/32742790687.html
This charger can supply up to 5.5V to compensate USB cable resistance (especially when using a longer cable).
https://lygte-info.dk/review/USBpower Choetech usb 5V 2.4A SMT0008 UK.html
Don't forget a good quality cable as well for fast charging. Up to 1.5m 22AWG is OK, but over 1.5m get a 20-21 AWG cable. If you want to learn about cable resistance during charging the below article is helpful.
https://goughlui.com/2014/10/01/usb-cable-resistance-why-your-phonetablet-might-be-charging-slow/
I myself use Chotech SMT0008 5V/2.4A with a Tronsmart 20AWG 1.8m cable. I have tested some cables: Mageek 21AWG 3m, Blitzwolf 21AWG 1.8m, Ugreen 22AWG 1.5m all of them are OK. Avoid VoxLink cables !! their "fast cable" uses fake 24-28AWG!
Hi there.
I recently purchased a Samsung A54 and noticed that it came with USB-c to USB-c charger. It did not come with the plug. I have been using a normal USB-USB c cable and original Samsung fast charger from an older device to charge the phone (as i do not yet have access to a USB C plug). I have noticed that the charger becomes extremely hot and makes a buzzing sound. The charger also cuts out and restarts again multiple times during the charging process. Is it safe to use the USB charger or do I need to buy a USB-C charger?
Thanks so much

Just replace the charger. It's a lot cheaper than the phone.
I've had good results with the Anker Nano series.
I'd expect this to be the charger anyway and not from the phone with it.
I use the A53 with my old Samsung 15 watt fast charger and the cable that charger came with just fine. There's no problem. The a54 should be no different.
So, I expect the charger to have a problem.

I got the Samsung Charger brick with the phone but I use the Anker Charger anyways! Ive had this for more than a year and I use this as my primary charging brick. Never faced any issue so far.
I was using my old Oneplus Warp charger (65W) and was also getting heating, and phone would only charge for like 10 mins before stopping.
Bought a Belkin 25W USB-C brick and all my issues went away
