[Q] HTC One X Camera NOT WORKING - Need Urgent Help

Hey guys basically i've brought a HTC One X and i go on to the camera app and its just a black screen but all the option are still there i dont know what to do, could it be the rom or?!

Probably dodgy hardware. Have you tried switching to front camera to see if that one works. It will narrow it down if it does

Same problem here .... cant get the camera to work ...
i did hard resets... did factory resetes ... nothing helps ...
did clean data .... well ..... help is needed veru much =)

*serious : send it back to htc service centre or your issuing shops and rage. hopefully they will replace instead of repair

Hi!
I got the same problem. Just got this set 2 weeks ago. the screen also flickers.
How can we be sure that its china fake???
It does says clearly made in china.

What ROM are you running ? did you modify anything ? or is it a problem since you bought the phone ?

Rear camera not working after some app installation
Hi, I am also facing similar kind of problem.
I was using the phone cam without any problem but one fine day I installed some from the market which used cam and it was not much of use to me so installed in there and then only. but after that it seems that particular app has got some cam driver uninstalled along with it.
Now when i try to open the camera, my front camera gets opened without an option to switch to back cam.
Also the LED light (flash) is also not working. I tried installed torch app but it also has the feature disabled.
I have done a hard reset and soft reset.
I am on stock rom of 2.2 and android 4.0.2
Pls help !!!!!

difference between one X and one X+ (rom+hardware)

Hi. I have a question. Whats a differences betwen one X and one X+ on hardware,hboot,rom,radios ? Maximus and Mike1986 have roms based on X+ and I don't know wchich rom is better becouse for X+ is official ROM from HTC.

i think that they will run only at a different clock speed...one x + at 1.7 and one x at stock 1.5

[Q] Porting from htc desire x

Hey guys i was heared that htc desire x will be given an update to jb with sense 4.1
I was very angry with htc since one v is much costly than desire x.
So i have an idea,since desire x and one v are having same resolution,the porting of sense rom was little easy.
so any one can give an idea about this porting?

btw, u cannot port JB from desire x cos we dont hboot upgrade
where to get hboot upgrade? hTC provides us with hboot upgrade but they will not so.....

checked my hboot, it's unlocked and "endeavoru pvt ship s-on rl" is displayed on top. my question is, where should i get custom roms for my phone? im quite confused, thanks guys.

That depends on what you want. In the Android Development section you will find mostly Sense roms with mods for Sense roms.
Original Android development are mostly AOSP based roms.

Yours said Endeavoru right? If so, you are at correct forums and it doesn't matter if you flash a rom from original development or regular development.
The other One XL forums are located somewhere else.

You can flash any rom out here... Just make sure you have hboot greater than 1.31 to flash JB roms

Endeavoru = International One X (Tegra3)
So yeah! You can flash international tegra3 version!
