I want to go back to ICS after having issues with GPS lock with JB. Does any have stock ICS ROM for ATT? Some of the links here are dead. Thanks.

Post it. I am sure someone will find it useful. Heck, I might if I dont like ICS.

Just flash the Stock GB through Odin, that's all I did, complete accident. But it worked lol, I was like why does my ICS look like that? and checked, sure enough it was GB.

You're mistaken, I was using darkside's rom, flashed back to stock GB, and re-flashed stock ICS with no radio issues.

Of course when you flash with Odin it flashed the modem with it. So he's not mistaken'd.
The only way you can get an ICS radio to work with GB is if they modified it and removed the ICS RIL files in the modem and vice versa for ICS radio's to work on GB which most of the Dev's did in their ROM selection. That's why you see modified modem in their OP's at times.
I had ics on my telus phone and proceeded to restore my phone due to issues and when I rebooted I was running gingerbread.
So loaded up kies to do a update to ics and said I couldn't so i took a look and was running lle4 in gingerbread and everything ran fine.
I had to manually upgrade go ics through cwm after

THIS
lol You can odin to anything because stock odins carry ROM kernel modem and recovery...
However if you RESTORE from a BACKUP it may or may not give you problems. depends if the radio is modified or not.

Where can I find the stock gb Odin file? My girlfriend doesn't like ics update. She complains too much about lag and app hangs. I want to revert her phone back to stock gb. Can anyone post a link of where I can download it from? Thank you in advance!

nah itmakes no difference, i thought it was common knowledge that you could nandroid back to gb..just that there will be a few kinks here and there
Just received the ICS update prompt. Is it safe to do so being on Boost?
So you are a boost customer and got ics ota notification? That can't be bad.
Sent from my E4GT running the blu kuban!
Yes on boost service and received ota ics notification update.
What build?
Please post which version you end up with. Suspect FF18 but hey, wishful thinking never has stopped!

Yes currently on EL29 Gingerbread. Phone is stock. Update does not tell me if its build FF18. It only says it Android 4.0.4 update.

Been wondering about the update also would love to get rid of gingerbread but don't want to get rid of the settings for boost....don't have the money right now to reflash lol
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Im not familiar with the process to flash to boost but whats even better is you guys now have ICS rom leaks specific to boost now
Not a boost user but have seen posts from users where flashing / updating doesn't wipe settings.
If it would, then theoretically a nandroid would take you back.

Ha guess I'm pretty famous around here
Anyways from what I have found is that no rom I have flashed on this phone has messes up the radio settings where all the carrier settings are stored. You should be fine. But that being said flash at your own risk ha.

It'd be great if you could share your source with HO!NO! so he might be able to get a good specifically P930 build if he's interested in that. Is your MIUI based on JB?

Nope, his is based on ICS 4.0.4
Ah, okay. I don't really want to go back to ICS, but I'd be interested in this ROM when it gets upgraded to JB.

NO, you wouldn't. I tried this out. It seems to drastically increase screen sensitivity, which will last you across all ROMS you try to go to, unless you unbrick, I hope. Happening to me right now, I formatted system, data, and went to CM10. Screen just screwed up completely. I'm going to try unbricking to see if that fixes it, if it doesn't, oh sheet.
moved to general as not dev
if links to orig work are added i'll move back

Anyone notice the flash player is not working on the new t-mobile update 4.1.1 UVALK8
That's because the Note 2 doesn't have flash player to begin with. You have to side load it

As I've said the Note 2 or any jelly bean phones does not come with flash.

Yup, stock. I did side load flash.
Then it's not completely stock.
The point to the op is that he didn't lose flash. He just had flash installed at some point. The update reverted everything back to oem state so he just need to install flash again.

I am on Scotts rom 5.0 ad when call and talk to someone the receiver doesn't understand me half the time. Tis has gone on for a while even on different roms. It sometimes works better when I am on an aosp rom but I still have problems. I have went back to stock and I didn't change anything.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe flashing 4.1 and 4.2 and 4.3 roms could have tweaked it out somehow?
Does anyone have an answer before I call ATT?
thanks for any help thrown my way!

Thanks so much for the reply! I am going to flash the modem/radio again to see if that helps me. I honestly can't remember if I did flash another or not so I'll just flash the stock radio/modem to make sure. Thanks again!
