On a browser and on GMAIL when scrolling on the right or left side on the screen it zooms in with one finger.
Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks

If you do it quickly its probably registering it as a double tap, which will of course zoom in.

It's a feature, if you drag along the side with the S Pen it does the same thing.

any one know how to disable this feature?
I second that!

Hello every one,
The little circle who use to appear like a mouse cursor doesn't appear anymore, why that?

Settings, S-Pen, Air view. Check if that is on. If it is it might be a issue with you pen.

I have tried numerous times to use my s pen to capture images from the browser, but when i do it, it isn't drawing the circle around the image. I am pressing the button while trying to capture, but nothing.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
You're holding down the spen button the while time while you are drawing the circle correct?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Yes. I wonder if something is wrong with my s pen button, because I can't take screenshots with it either.
When i hover over the screen I see the indicator that it sees my s pen and when i press the button while hovering the "mouse" disappears, so it seems to even know that i am pressing the button.
Not sure what is up.

Could I have accidentally turned off an option to cause this?

do any other gestures work while holding down button? double tap note, selecting text etc
Double tap note not working either.

I had a bad s pen. This thing is a lot cooler when that button works! Lolol

i changed the text size in settings to small, but now when i use the browser, the text reflow to page size doesn't work to my zoom level, it only works to the "default" double tap size. is there a fix or work around for this so text reflows to the width i zoom in?
thanks

are you zooming in then double tapping?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
that's the problem. double tap will go to the width of the text. manual zoom, pinch zoom, whatever, does not reflow the text to the width of the screen, even though the option is set. doesn't matter if its more or less than the double tap zoom width. even the original rendering

i sm having trouble following ya
reflow on samsungs is silly.. pinch zoom.. then double tap=reflow
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
so basically, reflowing txt to your zoom width doesn't work, not existent, broken, on Samsung devices.

thats not what i said...
you have to zoom in...then double tap. apple had rights to reflow. though htc was able to work out a deal with apple and simple doubletap=reflow samsung was not....thus it was changed
zoom in by pinching...then double tap.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
when i zoom in, then double tap, double tap zooms it out to whatever the default font size is saved as in options. it does no reflowing what-so-ever.
i didn't realize this was a magical patentable thing, nor the apple control, or htc deal. i thought this was called "word wrap" and displaying-text-within-display-margins, something done on electronics since the 60s. probably before that in labs and military stuff.
what a stupid patent.

no...you can use browsers from the market though...chrome...opera.. dolphin hd etc
just to name a few

I like the stock better though. I don't know why, everyone likes chrome. I find it buggy though.

I finally understand the double tap...i tried it on a display phone in the Sprint store today. But, it doesn't do that on my phone. Double tap zooms to the width of the default text size set in settings, regardless of what its set to. I've tried changing all the options... what am i doing wrong?

You can also use gesture. You will need to enable it in the settings.

lol .. I finally figured this out. You have to touch the screen when your swiping. I thought it was an air thing. I've swiped every damn way I know to swipe .. in the air.
Huh I cant get the swiping to take a screen pic.

Do you have it turned on in settings and are you touching the screen with the side of your hand when you swipe?
Where at in settings is located at?

It looks great on the note 3 screen. The lock screen is cool also, when you hover your finger over the screen a star appears that you can move around

That's the light lock screen from the S4. It is cool. And it does that with any live Wallpaper. On the S4 it was with any regular wallpaper.
