I'm having issues sending picture messages while on CM10 (stable and nightlies) they send but they always arrive blank no matter who receives it.
I went back to stock ics and it worked.
Upgraded to jb OTA and it worked.
Flashed CM10 nightly (clean full wipe) and now it gives issues. I'm bummed, everything else is flawless on this Rom.
Any ideas?
I searched the CM10 thread and came up with tips for general texting problems but nothing that fit my issue.

This issue has happened to me before when I was flashing new Roms. I would perform a full wipe and then flash a rom, but after I reboot, people have been saying that they instantly receive several texts from me that I sent during the last few days prior to flashing. Yesterday I boot into cwm recovery to flash Gideons uv script, reboot, and my gf says she got 22 old texts in a row from me, so I don't think it has anything to do with wiping. Anyone have similar issues?

Damnit this just happened to me for the first time today (had multiple friends tell me that I sent them a bunch of texts at once)....what a weird issue.
FWIW, I delete my texts all the time (I average 100+ texts a day) and I do not save them or do anything weird with them. Just send, read, and delete.
I have also had a similar problem... I would send a bunch of people texts and they never received them. I I reboot my phone and boom they all go through. I think it was something to do with the custom rom I was running because I switched back to stock rooted and haven't had an issue since.

I had that problem but it turns out it was my SMS pop up app that was causing it. Check ur apps

I think it was the synergy kernel, switched back to darkside and all is well

I'm running bigxie's Jelly Bean rom, the latest version (6-29-12) and every thing works fine for a day, but when I get to to the second day of use of this ROM (I've flashed it a few times now since the release and the same thing keeps happening) the phone/dialer wants too stop working after a call has been made. For example if I call my voicemail, the dialer stops working so I can't enter my pin to listen to the voicemail, or if I call someone I can't put them on speaker phone or I can't press the end call button. Before I make a call the dialer works fine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I know it has nothing to do with the way I flashed the ROM because everything works fine the first day. At first I thought it had to do with the navigation bar mod I was using but, this is my second time flashing the ROM completely stock and I'm still getting the same problem. I've also tried fixing permissions and nothing. Tries wiping the cache of the dialer and nothing.
Can someone please help?!?!?

Not getting that problem ..maybe you just got a bad download? try redownloading the package and flashing again

My best bet is to just go with the stock Preview Jelly Bean Rom. From what i heard majority of the modified Jelly Bean roms are real crappy. Just go back to Stock ICS or w/e ICS rom you were using before the final version of jelly bean will be coming out shortly.
Guess I'll go back to ICS for now....thanks for trying to help.

I'm on bigxies rom and there are no problems whatsoever don't be so quick to assume its the rom. I actually find this rom to be more stable than his b2 4.0.4

I have 4.1 running on my Galaxy Nexus with Team Liquid Vicious' Rom. It is near perfect. I suggest following the steps here to install V3 rather than downgrading.

okay so I was running CM10 flawlessly, no kernels or anything straight CM10 and the camera alongside everything else were all working. flashed 10.1 because it was the next nightly. Being that 4.2 is not stable for the T999 yet, the camera didn't work. after running into too many bugs I went back to CM10 and the camera still didn't work. ODIN flashed the stock 4.0 software, camera still failed...
I never dropped the phone or anything like that so hardware is a bit farfetched, any ideas?
did you bother to wipe at all during any of this? 10.1 is 4.2 by the way. did you make a nandroid of your cm10 (with no issues at all)... flash recovery wipe everything besides your sdcards and restore your nandroid.
Yes, I did. I know what 4.2 is dude, you're missing my point.

Calm down. Sounds like a hardware issue. Might have just been a fluke that it happened during flashing 10.1

If mt3g missed your point, then I also missed it. You said you updraded to 10.1 from 10.0. Then the camera didn't work, so you reverted to 10.0. Never said if you wiped anything, or if you tried to restore the nandroid (I think) you are saying you have. Assuming you attempted to restore a nandroid that should have worked, the next step is to see if the problem still occurs with a fresh install of CM10. If yes, Odin to stock. If problem still occurs, get replacement.
Ok.

Been running this Rom for 2 days now. Anytime i try to play a music track the app freezes and crashes. Some people have said after flashing the rom to clear the dalvik and cache again. I have tried it and it still does not work. This seems to be the only issue i am having with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, i would have posted this in the liquid smooth rom page but due to having less than ten posts i cant. I dont consider myself a newb to flashing as i have been doing it since the OG EVO was released. :silly:
Noobish move. Tried a different kernel and it works fine now. Ktoonsesz is what was causing it to crash for whatever reason.
Running on lean kernel rc9 and everything is fine now

I love this rom and almost everything about it, except the freezing. The phone freezes at a rate of 15-20 times a day then having to hard reset twice to get back to normal. This happens using keyboard, facebook, games, settings, and any other app in general. I would like to keep this rom forever but the freezing issues are too much. what do you suggest? fresh wipe of EVERYTHING or anything less elaborate?
I had the same problem with v20. Once I updated to v21 it went away.
Are you running the latest version?
