After the jellybean update on Rogers does anyone else's led not glow when booting?

I actually hadn't noticed myself, but you are right! I have the Bell one, and same thing. Of course, the boot animation is different too (with a lot more black). Powering off still triggers the LED though.
Thanks for confirming

Oh and can you check if when you add files to your phone such as music if it still does the syncing thing?

I just updated to S3 to 4.1 Jellybean and now the screen time out function does not work. Is anyone else having the same problem?
You probably have smartstay enabled.

Smartstay is not enabled. I even changed it to time out after 15 seconds, nothing!
I'm going with you need to do a factory reset, it's suggested after the update any ways.

This just started happening to me too!
I'm on Deodexed_T999UVDLJA for a week now with no issues. Would rather avoid a factory reset....
I'm on JB root 66 and I just noticed my phone staying on this morning. What is going on?

Ok, I messed up. I've rooted my phones a lot of times, but I'm far from an expert. I tried to use the Toolkit tonight on my AT&T Galaxy S III and it's acting all kind of funny. I promise I'll forget the whole root idea if someone can help me. The screen doesn't come on unless it's the Samsung logo or in download mode. When I try to boot it, screen stays black and the blue LED gets bright and dim randomly...flashing if you will. Can someone point me in the direction to get back to the official 4.1.1 ROM to which I upgraded earlier today? Thanks in advance.
Download mode. Then this thread.

ConeyKiller, you are the man. Worked like a charm. Thanks, man!
All I did was relay the information. Thank MrRobinson. You are welcome though.

Sorry, kenny. I tried to post it there but due to my lack of posts, I was directed to General. Thanks for moving it.
Is there an asop stock MMS that allows us to have the option of having the notification as "new message" rather than showing the actual text message as it appears in the notification bar? I remember having this feature on my vibrant when I was using cyanogen. I'm currently using tasks ROM.

I just found a mms apk from a cm 10.1 thread and pushed it through system apps. it seems to me like all the cm comes with this particular type of mms.

My phone is constantly rebooting(no matter what room I'm on) and sometimes it freezes and then reboots(and when it does, I end up with totally different battery percentage). I'm not sure wtf is going on.

I'm not sure if your asking for help, or just wanting to vent. But if your asking for help....
Battery percent being different after a reboot is very common with these phones. Many people have reported freezing and lock ups while using Agat 1.4.3 kernel, and others report the same while using CrossBreeder. Others report that using AIO 4.0 with AOSP lockscreen while having rotation enabled have caused the same.
You could also be experiencing hardware issues..
More information on your part would greatly improve any helping diagnose your troubles.
If you are asking a question, please ask a mod to move this to the QA section.

Same but solved
I was having that same problem with my g.f's phone after flashing the Agat 1.4.3 kernel like ol boy said above. I flashed stock n it'z running fine now.
i am running an earlier build of Beanstalk on my SCH-R760 and it's a known issue that airplane mode randomly turns itself on.well, it only used to happen once in a while, now it happens after almost every phone call and i have to reboot to turn airplane mode back off...
so, is there a way to just remove airplane mode completely as i never use it anyway?

Edit: I just woke up, and mentioned you may be in the wrong forum, but I just remembered, you have the USC variant that doesn't have 4g. There are ways to delete it from the power menu, but completely, I'm not sure about that.
