Auto Open Dock + Car Dock

I have used programs like Locale and other dock programs and they work great to open my desk clock when connected to my dock from eBay, however, is there any way to open the navipanel when in my car? Via an application or a car charger that sends the instruction to the phone?
Thanks

[Q] Vehicle Dock Setup W/out Vehicle Dock

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the vehicle dock interface running in the car without the vehicle dock?
I have the Multimedia Dock/hd dock and was planning on mounting that on my dashboard and was wondering how to get the option in the list to use the car dock setup?
Yes you can get the car dock program running without the car dock. You need the app called Anycut from the market. This app makes shortscuts for you. The intructions are listed here in the forum. Just search for Anycut.
If you cannot find it, I will see if I can help further.
Sent from my Atrix using Tapatalk.
Anycut works and is a neat app. However, I use launch x and couldn't put the anycut shortcut into my app widget. If you get the "Car Mode" app from the market, it does the exact same thing (pretty much a short cut to car dock) and acts like any other app.
Just note if you use the car mode app be sure to click the app icon after you close it otherwise whenever you hit the home button it will bring up the car home. Took me a min to figure that out.

[Q] CM7 - How Do I Enable the Home Dock Option

I am running CM7 Final on my EVO. When I put the phone in the Car Dock it launches my Car Dock App just fine. However, when I put it in the HTC Docking Station it only charges (and says USB connected if it is on the computer).
I am looking to enable it see the dock and ask me what default program I would like to run when docked in the Home Dock.
Help or Suggestions greatly appriciated.
Thanks

Home Button behavior when using car dock

I have a SG2 and the official samsung galaxy s2 vehicle dock. I am wondering if there is a way to make the home button go to a program like Car Home Ultra.
When I plug the phone into the car dock, it asks me if I want Voice Control or Car Home Ultra. I haven't yet made either of them default so I choose Car Home Ultra and it works. Until I accidentally bump the home button and I go to my launcherPro home screen.
Isn't there some way to change the behavior of the home button when in the car dock?

Standard Dock Question

I want to have a dock in my car next to my USB port (as shown) to rest my phone in and connect through USB to play music. The Bluetooth on my car isn't the best, it doesn't let me change songs through the wheel controls but USB mode does, so I need my phone to be in mass storage mode.
My question is, If you put the Atrix on the motorola standard dock and connect the dock to a PC/car does it allow you to enter mass storage mode? I'm on cm9 if it makes a difference.
If so, that would be really handy as I could leave my usb cord connected to the dock all the time and just pop my phone on and I'm good to go rather than having to physically grab the cord and connect it to my phone all the time. It'll look much nicer too.
Thanks guys.
When I plug my standard dock into my pc with a usb cable, the usb mass storage option does not appear. I get webtop, entertainment center, gallery, music, widget clock, dismiss picker, mirror phone on display, and other...and under other I only have Alarm Clock Plus...and app I have added.
Well that's not good. Maybe it'd be different under cm9 because it doesn't run blur. I've bought it anyway, so we'll see. If it doesn't work I'll just use it as a charger.
Got my dock in the mail today and unfortunately it doesn't let me use mass storage mode when connected, even on cm9. Might just pull it apart and feed my own usb cord through it.
