I notice the Note 2 detects when I plug in my headphones to listen to music. Is it possible to create some sort of profile that when I plug in my headset it will automatically adjust my volume levels for media, ringtones, notifications & system?
Thanks,

is there a tweak or fix to route the ringtone song to play through the headphones when they are connected?
for me when the sound is on and headphones are plugged in, the ringtone will still play through the speaker. only way to turn that off is to drop the phone volume to 0, in which case you have to rely on the vibrate function to inform you of a phone call..
seems logical that if your music is playing through the headphones your ringtone should be able to as well ?
Anyone with an idea of how to change the registry to stop ringing through the a wired headset? When I listen to music I lower the volume on windows media player or TCPMP and the ringer volume stays at max. I've noticed that when I connect a wired headset an icon shows up, so there must be some way to change its behavior.
I've been looking to be able to automatically adjust the volume depending on whether a headset is plugged in or not. Typically when listening to music, I need the media/alert volumes low. However, when I unplug the headset the volume becomes too low for me to often notice the alert/etc.
I have not seen any controls in ICS, but Ive found one such app, Toggle Settings. It looks to provide a lot of versatility, but has no recent updates or comments.
Thanks
Update: Toggle Settings is not compatible with ICS
Sometimes I plug my headphones in to watch a video, and there's no volume. I can raise and lower the media volume, toggle between sound / vibrate / silent with no difference. Once I reboot the tablet I have sound on my headphones again. Really a strange problem!
Is there anyway to separate the media volume from notification volume?
For example, in the car, whilst listening to Bluetooth audio from the phone, I need to have my media volume up, but this makes incoming notifications simply frightening and brutally loud through the audio system.
Also, why does my media volume control notification volume?

This is on the Mate 9 as well, drives me mental, and judging by no response to your question we are screwed. This is the first android device I have used that doesnt have separate volume settings for this??
I have been tempted to flash a vanilla firmware instead of huawie to see if it has the settings but it appears all the bootloader pages are down at huawie and I cant unlock it
Love the phone apart from this??
Anyone please????
