I read in a thread that if he had any support you could (I think what they meant something like GameKlip)

I think if you have jb sense Rom installed. You can use ps3 controller without root.

if i do decide to root & unlock & installing rom, do you have any suggestion for a good rom for tegra 3 hox?
I'm using the viper x atm. Very satisfied. I also like the bug x and the blade roms

Impossible also. Unless somebody hacks our devices to S-OFF

oh ok, thank you for all the help, i will check the roms you suggested.
if anyone have any more suggestions for good roms, please share
ViperX is definitely a great choice if you want Sense.
For AOSP side, I can recommend CM10.1 and IceColdJelly.

i do like sense, and i saw the review about viperx and i really liked it.
only two questions, right now im using the app "anysoftkeyboard" because i couldnt use sense keyboard with my language (hebrew), i remember people told me that if i would use a rom i will be able to use sense keyboard with my language, is it true?
and is this the latest topic of the rom? : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745176
i just saw it in "original android developments" forum and im still new here so idk the difference between the 2 developments forums XD
tnx in advance
edit:
forgot to ask, the language "Hebrew" will work with viperx rom? cuz im using right now the app "more locale 2" to change the system to hebrew.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087443
This is the latest one.
I can see עברית in language settings. It is Hebrew, right?
For the keyboard it is unfortunately not available.
Everything in 'Original Android Development' is built from source, AOSP ROMs. It also contains 'extraordinary' development like ViperX
Under 'Android Development' you can find most Sense ROMs

wow thank you for all the help, עברית its hebrew as you said.
is there any widget/app/anything that can get me a sense keyboard with hebrew?
No. HTC have not integrated Hebrew language in any of their recent Sense keyboards, Arabic neither.
You can install Stock Android keyboard if you want, it comes with hebrew out of the box.
Link: http://d-h.st/XuS
Install like normal APK.

now im in a huge pinch, i tried installing viperx rom and it all finished up fine without errors at all.
when it got rebooted it showed me the lock screen (as it should) but when i try to unlock it restarts!!! :crying:
edit:
nevermind, fixed it, the guide i used never said anything about deleting cache after flashing boot img =.=
Did you do full wipe before installing?
Tap wipe data/factory reset in cwm.
Then install the rom again.

Don't post questions in General! It's said right at the top, how do you expect others to read your questions if you don't bother to read yourself?
And here is your solution: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2244884.
I just flashed this on stock JB .200 and the app works, but I don't have a PS3 controller to try but it should work. From what I see you need a cable to perform the pairing, but after that it's wireless. It should work on most stockbased roms, both JB and ICS.

Yeah you'll need a recovery, this should do: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2308493. The install instructions say you need Busybox, so I suggest you root your phone with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327473.
So first rooting (will install Busybox), after that install recovery. When recovery is installed, put the Dualshock3.zip on your phone and reboot, press Volume Up to access the recovery when the LED lights up at the start of booting. And I assume you know how to work with CWM from your time on Samsung.

chinese in phonelog

I have just bought a htc one x from ebay from a seller in hong kong. I'm pretty sure it's second hand because supersu and a couple of chinese apps were installed.. but nvm that. the only thing that really bothers me is these weird chinese characters and this bizarre capital M.
I guess it might have something to do with the chinese apps.. any help will be much appreciated:good: thx

You could always try to flash another rom and change the language on the setup. I think it is possible to change language when you have installed it though, let me try something out with my htc.
edit: Play around with the system's language. There's a ton of languages which you can choose from if you haven't tried that already

Try a factory reset, installing the language and the rest of the software all over again. It might have something to do with your apps and the previous owner.
I hard reseted the phone and no good :/ what could be the problem ?!?

Your going to have to flash a ROM from the forums to remove the Chinese completely, I had the same thing on mine, go with something stock based if your are a first timer with this stuff, that way everything works properly

My friend you are not asking any help, just posting your doubt.
If others are able to install and uninstall the same, think yourself the problem is with you or with the app?
I can port and write the instruction only!
