XxCM9_V6SUPERCHARGER_xX - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Has anyone ever tried using the V6 Supercharger with the official Cyanogen Mod 9.1? Is there even a benefit off of it, like better battery life?? Any responses to this post will be really appreciated. Thanks

Maybe tomorrow?

Juggs best kernel.

If you're on Juggernaut v5, what kernel are you using? I was wondering this because my battery life is crap with the kernel that came with the ROM & I'm not sure why. I use my phone regularly, not heavily but not to lightly. Thanks.

What's battery life like? All the ICS ROM's I've tried have had really bad battery life.

Well I don't have problems with my battery...
And plus you have to turn off some stuff that you don't use to save more battery
Like: bluetooth, wifi, data, GPS, auto brightness, keyboard sound off, keyboard vibration while texting off....
Well I guess you get the point.
Stuff that are not necessary and your not using them at the moment just turn them off

Alright, I'll try it out. Thanks!

im on aokp jb4 and am only getting like ten hours as apposed to like thirties on jedi knight

i never noticed a difference, although i get superior battery life when on Touchwiz roms vs aokp/cm9 roms..
k thanks ive noticed the same sorta thing with touchwiz in regards to battery.. maybe ill just try underclocking for batt as i like the aokp/cm10 themeability and layout a lot more

Those are 2 different types of roms and I believe the 4.0.4 roms have good functional kernels unlike the jb roms that don't have source yet for the kernels.

I was on M6 and had terrific battery life.. Comparable to any other ICS rom in our forum.. Kernel source will make a huge difference in JB roms when it's released

From my experience flashing with a battery not at full has zero effect on the battery life.. But you gotta make sure you have enough battery life to complete the flash! I've noticed significant drops in battery life from time to time while in recocery! So be smart about it

Download Kernel.
How to tweak the kernel thread.

[KERNEL] Newbie here and was wondering...

I've been trying some kernels lately but haven't roamed to far. I've tried ktoonsez (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390147] and I wanted to see any suggestions from you guys on a kernel and some settings for a balance of battery life and performance. I know it differs from user to user but was just curious. Also running CM11 nightly 12/15/13
Thanks
