[Q] Problem with games "SD data" - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I haven't been able to make any game that requires placing SD data to Android/obb work. My Samsung Galaxy Nexus is unrooted and I install the game, then copy the files to Android/obb (directory already exist), but then games don't run.
Should I do anything different? Does it have to do with the fact that it does not have SD card slot, but only internal memory? Or with the fact that my phone is not rooted?
Thank you in advance!

Has to do with pirating the games.

Installing app data to sd card?

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way to install apps with app data to the external harddrive. I have GTA 3 installed internally and I do not have enough space to install need for speed. I still have not found a way to do it! any help would be great
Thanks,
Tayshun
I heard if you have root there are programs that allow you to map the game directory to your External SD card. Example for GTA you would simply copy all the contents in the com.rockstar.gta3 directory to an identical folder on your External microSD card.

(Q) Any backup software?

For now im using 2gb memory card and im planning to buy 8gb memory card because it almost full. So, is there any software that can backup all my files including save game data and everything on my memory card?
Just copy and paste it in your pc
Sent from my GT-S5830
how about all my save game data? i already tried to use titanium backup before, but its not working
All your saved game data is stored in the sd card itself so just transfer the contents to the new sd card and it should work

Ummm yeah. There's a great application called "Ctrl+C". You select everything in your SD, run that program, and then press "Ctrl+V" in a folder to your desktop.
Works wonders.

How to restore data saved on my Xperia Play?

I needed to do factory settings, steps before that i rooted my phone and i was able to put through some applications to SD card (for example FIFA 12, etc.). Obviously when i did the reset, the applications and root has disappeared, my SD card was out of the phone during this project to make sure that it will not be removed. When i turn on the phone and put SD card in the phone, it shows the same amount of free space as before but I dont know how to restore my FIFA and other applications back.
Do i need to do root and installl the same application i was moving data to SD card?
I bought this phone from other guy and FIFA was bought on his gmail account, i did account.db change and backup and signed in with my gmail and everything worked and i tricked the system. Now i am little bit worried to lose programs and i had on my phone.
Thanks for your help
Your saved game states are gone. They are saved in the internal memory not the sd card.

Depends on the game. Older games save their savestates on the SD card. Newer ones save it on the /data partition.
Use Titanium Backup for backing up.
i dont care about saves
MC3 game this is what i was able to save, only 4mb were needed to download.
i am more worried of other applications on my SD
is this something what can help me?

[Q]Swap internal memory with external sd-card on KitKat

On all my other devices I was able to make the system believe the internal memory is the external SDcard... and that my external SD card was the internal memory
so I had a 64 GB tablet.
Never had any issues or obvious loss of speed...
Now I have installed my standard apps and the game Xcom and 16 GB are used up... can't move any more to the SD
Any way to do this on the P605 with 4.4.2?
I'm towelrooted
Sent from my SM-P605 using XDA Premium HD app
I believe you can use the app Foldermount to do that, or manually relink the drives via Terminal.

As the previous post suggested, get the paid version of foldermount and you can pretty much move (i.e. link) any folder to the SD card without android throwing a fit. I linked the Downloads folder and all of my game obb folders to the SD card and I have plenty of space left on the internal storage now.
FolderMount Problem
Okay i have FolderMount on my android 4.4.2, but when i choose to open ''storage/sdcard1 or sdcard0'' it doesn't show nothing inside (on the foldermount) ! HELP ?! D:
I am confused. What is the point of fooling the system into believing that the external sdcard is the internal memory? I heard that the sdcard is slower than internal one.
Is FolderMount an app to work around the KitKit unable to save to sdcard issue?

Ive been using folder mount since it came out.It does not make anything slower for me.I have 128gb micro sd card and it runs fine.I have alot of games and most are over a gig. With folder mount im able to put everything on external microsd card and play the games from there.I only have 16gb on tablet with about 30 gb worth of game data, so without foldermount I wouldn't be able to fit all the games on tablet. That's why its good to fool the sytem. Hope some of that helped you better understand.

[Q]How to move obb files of big games to ExtSD and make them work? [SOLVED]

I am having HTC M8 with 16GB Internal so 10GB something usable, so the problem is after I add some apps and then a game like GANGSTAR VEGAS which got large obb file of 2GB nearly I find in my internal memory full. I am having external memory of 32GB so is there any perfect way to move large OBB files to External MMC and make them working? I tried with some apps like "GL to SD" it movies files to SD but application wont work
Apart from these I also use Sygic Navigation, as I move globally I have much maps downloaded.
But my problem is just moving of OBB files of Games and get them working. Any Ideas?
[EDIT]
GL to SD(root) really worked! my bad, I opened app in normal way now I figured it out to get it opened from GL to SD
