[Q] Is there a way to change how calls are "handled" - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Coming from the iPhone it is a lot easier in various ways and I would like to know if it can be mimicked somehow. When you are in a call and you get a second call you have to swipe to answer and another pup up comes up to either hold call or end call and answer. Is there a way to have it as the iPhone where 3 buttons are shown?

Line 2 problems

I've got a line2 number from Orange on my SIM and having googled around I've found quite a few people having the same problem as I am.
When someone calls the line2 number the device does not ring or vibrate, but a notification pops up on screen, and the call can be answered, which is great if your looking at the device, but not when its in your pocket.
So I was wondering:
1) is there a fix for this?
2) will it be fixed in the (hopefully) upcoming WM6?
3) could I write a application that looks for incoming calls (on line2) and makes a ringing sound...
I'm guessing in theory 3 cant be too hard?

[WM6.5.1] Am I the only one who needs a keypad when answering calls?

I have an intercom in my building that is routed to my cell phone. I need to press number to open the door. In the latest builds of 6.5.1, when I receive a call, the option to show the keypad does not appear and no hardware buttons seems to trigger it either .
Is there a setting or registry key somewhere to force the keypad to appear also when receiving calls?
Also, when making call, is there any specific registry keys that control the screen turning on and off during call that I could control? I can understand the problem of having the screen active while the phone is on the hear, but I find it very annoying to have the screen turning off automatically while im answering questions from, i don't know if you remember the time, when the automated voice answering systems were only understanding key tones...
I find it ironic that my smart phone with gps and internet is not able to mimic the same functionality as any land-line phone can. Its like, yeah look at my new phone, its great for everything... except for the 'phone' experience.

I love XDA and its community and thanks to every hard working rom cookers. MS should pay you all big time for what your doing.

[Q] Incoming Call Volume as Notification Volume?

For whatever reason Samsung took this option out of Android. I know its in CM, and my stock Evo Shift, Evo 4G, Epic, and Photon all had this option, as does my friends Droid 2 and Droid 3. I tweeted @galaxyssupport to ***** and they said they would pass it onto the R&D team.
Anyone know if this is something a dev could easily add back in or does anyone know of a good market app that can easily handle this for me. I hate not having it since I am so used to having it and I hate changing them separately.
I use Volume Control+ Pro to replicate this (former) setting. It allows you to configure the various sound settings at a granular level, and then lock them.

I use quick setting for this, and easy access to other settings. You can shortcut it to long press search button if you like. (Not needed to make not vol and ring vol the same - the shortcut that is)
Incoming call volume goes HIGH up by itself
Hi..
My incoming call volume of my Motorola Photon 4g goes up close to maximum by itself if I leave the phone idle for sometime. It is so annoying and hurts my ear as it is so loud when I answer or place a call. I have to make sure every time before I hold it to my ear that I get the volume down again...
Any help please ??
Thanks

Keypress (Keytone) / Dial tone DTMF Mod?

I'm looking for a way to change the native dialer to replace the waterdrops with DTMF tones. Looked at some threads below but they didn't have a solution. Anyone know of a mod that can do this?

+1 if this can happen. I was playing with my phone just now and wondered if there was an option to do this. Sounds it's possible on a rooted phone by changing some sound files, but I wouldn't know what to touch.
I don't think this will work. I've looked at it and the stock dialer uses 1 sound effect for all buttons. it's located in the standard area media\ui. You can easily replace that 1 file with another but that's all you'll get is a replacement single sound.
Only real solution I've found is aftermarket dialer with it coded in. Question is, why would you care what the button presses sound like? The actual REAL DTMF coding occurs when you press the dial button.

Is there a way to have the volume boost on calls stay on by default?

I usually like to have it on as i have a hearing loss. But its incredibly annoying to connect to the call and have to remove my ear from the phone to turn it on every time i make or answer a call.
just wondering if its possible. or if a mod could be made to support a function like that.
thanks
