HBO Go.....sound but no video

Loving my GS2E4GT, but with HBO Go I get sound but no video. Anyone out there find a cure or workaround?

You will get audio only if you don't have strong enough bandwidth. Did you try it on Wifi yet?

Same issue here and yes I've tried with wifi.

HBO and MAX Go
Same issue here.
On WiFi on 22Mbps, still didn't get anything but audio. The screen was completely black. I thought there was an error with the app and that it got locked. Tried unlocking, but went back to a black screen (locked), then hit the lock button again and went to the locking screen.
Tried HBO Go and MAX Go on both 3G and WiFi yesterday. Black screen with audio. Just tried on 4G and can confirm it didn't work either; same black screen with audio only. Getting 5Mbps right now on 4G.
As a comment to reference, up till saturday morning, when I got the E4gT, the Evo3D was having no problem showing these videos. From time to time I would get the odd "sound only" message, but it would be gone within seconds and the video would come back up.
With people commenting about data issues, others with radio issues, etc. makes me wonder if it's hardware and not software. Maybe a new kernel fixes it, but I haven't tried that yet.
Is there anybody able to get video on HBO Go and MAX Go at the moment? Could you provide as to whether you're using stock kernel or one of the rooted kernels; if rooted, which method, and ultimately, what type of connection are you using and what type of bandwidth do you have?
Hope we can shed some light into the issue.

If you check the comments with the app, all E4GT users are having this issue.

Take it as a grain of salt. Wonder if it could be a library missing, and if so, if one could be grabbed from a different device and pasted into the appropriate sys folder on the E4GT. Would need root, but still...

As of 10/12/2011, version 1.2 has video working for E4GT. If any issues, try removing the app from your phone and reinstalling from the market.
So far I've had no issues, and video finally works!

Anyone using this on Uverse? Of course it suppose to work but yea......

Guys, can anyone help here? I have Dish Network and every movie channel. HBO GO keeps saying my user name or password is bad and it isn't. I have checked multiple times...any ideas?

Yup..been trying for a while. I called Dish and they said to try back in a few hours but that's the 5th time they have said that

Can't access flash videos

So last night I was on my Epic Touch 4G and i wanted to show my wife this video, so I turned on my Epic and went to the website ( Lifetime). It wouldnt play the video and I have Flash 11 installed, java enabled and always on.
So i though ok no biggie we can just try my Tab 10.1 and it should work... same exact thing! Then she tells me that it would allow her to view some lecture videos for her school as well.... has anyone else been having this issue? Help

All I see is a big black box. I guess were missing some kind of plug-ins.

Device is dead, so I can't check, but have you tried disabling any ad-blocking?
Just checked the site, looks like it is using standard Flash.

Exactly, but that's not the only site though I have tried other websites

I have had the same issue uninstall and reinstall flash.

Facebook cannot upload photo

I've had this problem on every single rom and even my other android phone, the sidekick 4g. I've bee using myalbum for the past month or so , but I prefer the Facebook app uploader, any solution ? Seems that many people are having this problem.

Still can't get it to work, I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong with either of the phones, i tried a 3g slide also and it didn't work. Could someone maybe give me like a step by step thing for maybe security settings? I don't see any relating to the fb app, also looking at the apps settings, theres nothing that says facebook for android.

Same problem here. No solution yet.

It works just fine with other devices. I thought it could be setting in facebook but it works everywhere but on my SGS3. And I think problem started after the last update of the app.

Agree, I have latest Rocket Rom v7 on my Galaxy Note and I get same error with the latest Facebook update. It's cleary a program error since I can upload pictures to Facebook with FaceUp!
I think this is really frustrating and I hope that FB will fix this.

Works on neither of my android phones. Desktop works of course, maybe ill try from a non android phone?

What carrier do you have? if its simple mobile, i experienced this problem, and had problems loading facebook/browser.
I deleted the proxy in my simple mobile APN settings
Working now!

I have T-Mobile , but I don't think that matters because it doesn't work on either wifi or 4g

Try to change visibility settings when upload a photo.

Try clearing app data in your applications settings for the app.

Nope didn't work, and for visibility , I can only change the visibility for individual pictures in the mobile uploads album , unless im missing something?

I don't know the fix for this, but for alternative tool you could use the Instagram app and it's doing great job posting pictures.

I use myalbum to upload pictures and It works fine , kinda used to it now, I was just hoping that I can get the actual fb app to work

same issue
i always thought it was a network error because restarting the phone usually worked but i was at the races in watkins glen this weekend with a full 4g connection on all areas i was in and it wouldnt load anything. restarted pulled battery i even tried differant albums and differant camera apps i tried everything it would not upload a photo. So after this weekend i believe its a facebook app error and really needs to be looked into

CM9 Stable/Final and Tango

Is anyone else experiencing force closes on tango when answering or connecting a tango video call? I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem is besides something with the app itself..

I don't use tango personally, but have you uninstalled the app and reinstalled it? Or at least cleared the data from the app?

Yeah thanks for the suggestion, but that was the first thing I did.. Tried flashing TDJ's kernel to see if that would help but it didn't either..

hmmm interesting, People I know have never had much luck with tango, but as with all things either people like it or they hate it. I will do some digging to see what I can come up with myself.

I'm having the same issue with Tango. I tried reinstalling and same issue each time. FC when trying to answer the call.

Confirmed. Having the same issue on Majickwizz (for skyrocket) a CM9.1 based Rom. FC's as soon as the receiver answers the call. CM10 does not have this issue.

i tryed to get help on the main forum, but so far no one had help me....my google play dont work/launch it kepp getting the message SERVER ERROR RETRY....and yes there is a Tango error

WhatsApp Not Working?!?!

Im using InDroid V6 for the fun of it and its based on AOKP... Apparently, i cant use WhatsApp on it... It showed me the Initializing screen then it goes to the HomeScreen EVERYTIME... Can anyone help me?

Right, did you go Pristine when you installed that ROM?
Because if old files are inside, the application will be confused to Initialize or Use old settings.

And yep! I tried Pristine with Netdiver ROM, problem is, my SIM expired a few months ago and i thought WhatsApp will still wprk like normal... In fact, it didn... After several tries later, got it working again
