As the title suggests, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a ROM that's running 4.2 or 4.2.1. The wait is killing me! Any info you have is greatly appreciated!

I've searched, but all I can find is mentions of 4.2 gapps and ROMs that are in the process of being updated. I haven't been able to find a ROM that's actually been updated.
There are no ROMs running on 4.2 or 4.2.1 as of now. Devs are working on it so be patient.

Thank you for the straightforward answer! That's what I suspected, but I just wanted to get some confirmation

I would guess AOKP or CM will have it first

I just flashed the jelly bean cm10 rom and the associated gapps... but it claims I should also use aerovan's 10.5 kernel. I've googled all over for it but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where to download it? Thanks!

There is also an app on the market called GooManager which allows you to get easy access to files on goo.im. aeroeven's 10.5 kernel for instance can be found under /dev/aeroeven/kernel/vivow. I find this app useful to stay on top of the latest rom/gapps/kernel releases.
In goo manager you have to go to devs and find aeroevan. For some reason he isn't in the "browse compatible ROMs" section

Aeroevan has a new kernel for those of you who want to try flashing it. Its over at goomanager if you're interested.

Yup, I already have it flashed over CM7.2 nightly (my dd) and aeroevan's CM9 (test rig).
Runs great!
Aeroevan's CM10 is pretty far along. I may start playing with it on the test rig. Exciting times!

Really? Why do people say things like this? If you don't like it go back to stock, these are roms that are being worked on by our best devs and they are working with what they have, just be happy that we have ICS/JB at all. I for one am very happy with the alpha JB ROMs so far.

+1 - Aero JB ROM breaths new life into my old Inc2. Just LOVE it. Granted it might not for everyone but one has to be willing to accept a certain ... hmm how to say ... "imperfection" when using them. But the rewards are so much more plentiful than the shortcomings. Many thanks to all the devs working hard to making this possible.
Hey guys, I've used a couple of roms and am a fan of Euroskank, CM10 and AOKP, but I realize they still have no touchwiz. I was wondering with the official JB release being out for the international s3 and it seems to feature touchwiz as well were there no roms that featured the same(Jellybean and touchwiz)? Let me know guys thanks.

"Euroskank, CM10 and AOKP" are all AOSP ROMs, therefore they don't contain Touchwiz. If you want Touchwiz JB ROM, then you'll have to wait for that from Samsung. BTW, official JB ROM for our phones are not out yet.
Correct, AOSP and AOKP are ROMs based off the Android Open Source Project. HTC and Samsung basically load their own launcher or UI over it. There are usually a few ROMs that come with TW but the devas might be waiting for the official source

Just run tasks aokp and then use something like nova prime with a touchwiz Ui. You won't know the difference.

Unless i'm mistaken(maybe it was for international?). It was on one of these threads in General after the Samsung conference, also a few other sites mentioning it. Again maybe it is just for the international version.

Sept for the lack of touchwiz things like smart alert, smart stay, direct call, tilt to zoom, pan to move/browse, shake to update, palm pause, etc. That is the reason that I like touchwiz. It's slightly more functional than vanil. You can put a launcher on touchwiz and look like AOS/KP with the functionality, you lose that functionality though if you go to AOSP and try to look like touchwiz
Too bad the ROMS are full of bugs and do not work right most of the time. I'll wait for a stable update from Samsung.

Yes cm10 is jelly bean (4.1 originally) now Google has released an update to jelly bean with the number 4.2 its still jelly bean so cm10 receives those changes too since its not a new "major" version of android

Hi folks, I'm not from around these parts, I mainly live over in the dev section where my application utter! just went beta.
I've got a big problem of force close reports on start-up, which are almost entirely limited to the Galaxy Nexus. It actually appears to be a very simple problem to solve where I'm going to have to manually put some spaces in at the beginning of paragraphs - Very annoying, but it could be worse!
What I can't clarify from the bug reports, is whether this is affecting 4.1 or 4.1.1 or both....
If you fancy installing the app and confirming if it crashes for you, your OS version and if you're running stock, stock rooted or custom - I'll increase your thanks meters as the only incentive I can give to you!
I'll be posting an apk shortly with the minimal amount of added spaces possible in the first dialog that appears, so to see what I can get away with as a temporary fix, as I assume you're all hoping for an official 4.1.2 update soon??
Play Store Link
Thanks in advance :good:

Hello guys, I am attempting to release a ROM that I am porting from the Incredible 2 to the Incredible, but I am unable to post both in the Development section, and on Goo.im.
So, I am here, in the General Section, letting you guys know about the port, and to get some feedback. Does the community want this ROM? Anything you guys want in particular?

Not to be mean but the incredible is an officially supported device on evervolv and it was fairly simple to get it running once the base work of evervolv was done. I appreciate the effort trying to help out.
