I made a nand backup before I flashed custom rom. Now the backup is in .dup format.
Recovery which come with rom doesn't show any backup at all, but clockworkmod v5.8 skips them.
How can I restore it now?

hi all I've got the leedroid ROM on my phone is it possible to flash any ROM just to try them all?

Yes, although most roms will ask you to wipe data before flashing them) so create a titanium backup of all apps (user apps not system!) And a nandroid backup just in case

I have a problem. I have backed up my rom using the clock works recovery and rom manager. I installed another rom, but when I am trying to restore my previous ROM, it wont restore because there is no md5 file. I have attached a screenshot of the files that are in the backup
All you needed to do was use 4ext recovery to back up and restore your rom. No need for Tom manager. Try installing your back up thru 4ext recovery. See if that works.

Hi!!! I have a question... when I restore a backup made in recovery mode the kernel is restored automatically or I have to flash it again after the restore?
Thank you.

You have to flash the boot.img again if you're restoring a different ROM.
I have nandroid backup of stock rom in CWM.... Would that backup work with TWRP???

No. Restore it in CWM, flash TWRP and back it up again in TWRP.
Hi guys, i have a question.
I made a backup trough CWM and flashed the Sabsa Prime rom. In the flashing process it said something about ext4. If i revert back to my backup, am i going to be in a bootloop or not?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Er, why would it bootloop?
Because of ext4?

I think you might have 4ext (a recovery) confused with ext4 (a file format). The backup, as long as you restore it from the same recovery you made it from, will restore the format.
I tried reverted to Jellytime from Sabsa Prime and no issue happens, everything works fine
Thank you guys
Yes i made it with CWM and i still have CWM
