This site appears quite broken. I too get the constant reload loop often too, and I also can't view thumbnails in posts. I simply get a blank box with the words "Attached thumbnails" on top. Any chance the site will be repaired soon?
Yup . There have been these problems... and they are getting debugged as we speak..
See hear for more info..

Hello, i have been having a problem of whenever i go to apps such as opera, album, or watching a video i would get this block on the top left corner of my screen, and it doesnt go away unless u soft reset. is this a common bug that can be fixed. I am using spike's 6.1 taskbar update 2 if that helps. Here is the screenshot.
it doesnt look as obvious on this picture, but when i watch videos, it is really frustrating, please help me deal with this problem :[
EDIT: i have found the fix on another post. You can delete/close this thread now :]
whats the fix? i got the same problem in opera! lol
I have the same issue from time to time.. Can u please post the fix...?
Would I be right in assuming that you are all using FingerKeyboard? This looks identical to an issue I saw when using it. It was fixed by changing the following settings:
In fingerKeyboard options tab, change Portrait and Landscape settings to "Show Bar"
That solved it for me.
what wiggz posted is the fix lol. assuming you guys r using fingerkeyboard :]

When im trying to find a person on "all people" list using letters on the side.. it always put me on the wrong peoples name.
Ex. click/scroll to letter "R"... name show on the list starts with letter "M".
and when im scrolling names the little black indicator on the side along with the letters doesnt much the name on the list.
Ex. Scrolling through names start with "B".... the indicator is already on letter "E".

Clicking on an attachment (e.g. first attachment in link above) gives a blank page that says "No input file specified."

Works fine in IE9 and FF4.0.1

anyone? frustrating...
The first example post link you posted has a problem. The attachments are missing for some reason. That's not a problem on your end.
Actually: this happens of 50% of the thumbnails I've looked at.
They work fine in Firefox tho.
Same for me using Chrome Version 23.0.1271.1, 'Attached Thumbnails' surrounded by an empty box, not tried a different browser but will do later :good:
For Chrome users, do you have adblock plus enabled on xda-developer's forums ? If you disable adblock plus you should see the attachments. This is what i experienced with Chrome 23 myself

One way of getting it to work is to click on the post count.
Sometimes it requires multiple tries.

Works for me, open one post with void attachments separately ( by clicking on the post count) and it'll show the thumbnails, now just refresh the main/other page and all the attachments will appear..at least temporarily.

Hi all,
I am trying to add this HTML code to my signature:
<img src="http://www.danasoft.com/vipersig.jpg" border="0"><p><div style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif;font-size:11px;">Sign by Danasoft - Get Your Sign</p></div>
It should display a image, but it doesn't show up, it just shows the plain HTML code.
I have tried wrapping it in HTML tags, ect. but I cant get it working.
I have seen people with the same signature photo I want to use, but I cant seem to get it working.
Does anyone know how I get it to display properly?.
Thanks
Cheers
Corey
Try checking out various code here..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1761276
Just add the link ending with .jpg in img tags... like [ img] [ / img] without spaces in brackets..

Actual HTML code is not allowed due to security concerns.
The system you can use is called BBCode, google it for more information
i tried to edit my signature simply by uploading an url and also downloading and uploading it as a png. it shows up in my signature in my profile, but not when i post. this is my signature that i want to put at the bottom like you have.
http://s9.postimage.org/k84otx9cv/my_sig.png
edit: nevermind i figured it out, lol.
How to?
How do people add links into text like when they click DOWNLOAD Then the download link appears?

It depends what kind of website u are on.
If you want to write it in plain HTML, you would write:
name you want to show up on webpage here

Its like this..
Code:
[URL =http://link.com]your text here[/ URL]
Just remove spaces inside square brackets to make it work...

Hi,
sorry when this may be the wrong forum but I have no idea where else I can write.
I wanted to use the contact form (http://www.xda-developers.com/contact) to report an urgent issue but I cannot use it.
I tried it with firefox and chrome and doing this on several days in the last week but when I click on the "send" button an arrow is displayed which is moving around and keeps moving for hours - nothing more happening.
It doesn't matter which one I try - I tested 2 (urgent and contact the webmaster).
I have no idea how to contact xda and wanted to know if this is a problem only for me or if others having the same problem?
Thanks in advance
xdajog
is it regarding a post? u can actually just use the report button...

no it is an issue within the xda forum/devdb.
The bug reporter isn't working since weeks and I cannot contact xda and there is no reply in the corresponding forum.

I've heard this a lot but I have tested on different browsers and haven't been able to reproduce this. Are you using any browser extensions that might block 3rd party scripts? Can you check the browser console when you try to send the comment to see if there is an error message? You can use the Technical contact form which goes directly to me.
Hi,
Thanks for taking some time on this!
I've tried with FF (x86) and chrome, normal and private mode. I'm on W8.1.
I have only two extension in FF : ghostery and abp.
ABP always off in xda and I deactivate ghostery for testing .
The send button still spinning but nothing else happen. (try every combination)

And as you said, It seem like it's just a bug for two people, the OP and me. No one else came here to report too. So .....?
If I can help ? maybe some log or specific tests/info that help you to reproduce 'our' bug...do not hesitate.

I wanted to report that I have the same issue. I tried the webmaster contact form and I also just get the spinning arrow. I have tried several times over at least a month. I have tried both Firefox and Opera on two different Windows 10 machines, Firefox on a Linux machine and Dolphin Browser on my phone. I have had no luch with any of these.
Is there any other information, or anything else I could try to help debug this issue?

Site view is all screwed up in explorer. I tried different computers running different OS and i can confirm it is not releated to a certain device or OS. Can one of the devs look into it. Thank you

I saw your post in another thread. But no one else is having this issue. It must be related to your system, or internet connection.
Which theme are you using?
Sorry do interrupt you but this thread is about "contact forms unusable"
.
still the same.
Now I wanted to report issues with all XDA dev DB projects (cant upload new screenshots and downloads) but I'm not able to report this because I cannot use the contact forms..
