seems legit. beta version neither.
and this is just a random post? no [development] - related so should be in general

Im running Cm 9 AOKP on GTS5660, it installs fine from the app store

AOKP IS NOT CM9 and that should be in themes and apps because isn't development related

Sorry for my bad englisch

Run's great on frankin96 aopk rom:thumbup: only need a flash player

ICS and JB only, too bad..
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app

My experience: after I start it, it takes 1-2 minutes until it's usable. Sync caused 5 phone reboots, before it was successful. Lots of FCs, freezes.
Does anyone have a different track record?

Actually it works great on cm7

It says right in google play firefox: "suport for some armv6 devices with at least 800Mhz CPU and 512RAM", sorry but if you need doudle the RAM Gio has I guess it's not for us....O God I have to get a more capable device. I vove the Gio but....I wonder how much the Galaxy Mini 2 is case I never had problems with lower CPU just with RAM

This browser is really good. Smooth scrolling, big speed, but sometimes lags like hell(problem with ram)

My advice: don't use it cause it lags like hell.
Verstuurd van mijn GT-S5660

Firefox works for me and true it laggs
Sent from my GT-5660 using xda app-developers app

Yeah....
Problem with ram indeed because need atleast 300mb of free ram to run that dragon of firefox mozilla:banghead:
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Now i'm using opera, is firefox better than opera ?

for me Dolphin is better than opera firefox isn't good to gio because gio hasn't enough RAM memory (often lags, force closes)

Thank you

Looks original enough.
Looks legit. Seems an xda member ported it. Check about. Lol. It's nice. Pretty fast. But it has some stuff in another language for some reason.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
Lol screw "nice" and "pretty fast" this is the ****. Pretty damn awesome lol I'm loading websites in less than half the time it took with Dolphin and Maxthon.
DOLPHIN HD BROWSER IS BETTER, looks like google chrome too
I ditched Dolphin for Maxthon, and I'm ditching Maxthon for this. Don't really care for the gestures as long as it's faster, and this is.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
Hmm a friend on stock rom tried this and had to uninstall because he said it slowed down his phone. Wonder why. It's fine on mine.
its nice but the apk is very small the original chrome has over 10mb.Greeeeeeetz
Okay did some digging around. The browser is Miren, not Chrome. It's a browser from China and has a MIUI feel. An xda member translated it to English. Now why anyone would go through the bother of labeling it as Chrome I have no idea.
Still pretty awesome though. Seems I've been testing a lot of Chinese apps lately. XD

Temple Run on Galaxy Y?

Hey guys. My girlfriend just bought a galaxy y and I randomly want to ask whether temple run works on it? I know it wont show up in the market but does it work if we manually apk install it?
not compatible
No, not posibble, only on ics. Maybe try an ics custom rom, but its not competable with gingerbread or lower.
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
It's not officially available for devices with ARMv6 processors, only ARMv7. However, there is an APK you can download somewhere around here but it has a few bugs in it...
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
Yeah I found the apk. Doesn't seem to work correctly? Are there any ICS roms available for this phone? If yes, which ones?

yup the one on the themes and apps sections does installs and even runs well
but has a lot of bugs like the graphics glitches wile collectiong coins and even the man dies suddenling wile running,so have to wait for dev to fix it till now you can enjoy it as it is

well,i've found trick to finish that problem
actually the trick is You Must Finish The Tutorial Session..
after the tutorial session, the game will run (a little) smoothly, even when coin appears..
i'll research that, and i'll post the link as soon as possible..
*updated*
here's the link
**note: to finish the trick, you must watch a video. some of you'll think the video just about play, but actually the fix.
remember, you must have 'Sharp Eye' ,and fast thinking + skill
but the man dies automatically after some time.
is there any fix for this

You can run temple run..but the apk for armv6 has an auto die bug..
In order to run it,install chainfire3d from market..install it and then the phone will reboot
And then install plug.ins...choose your plug.in,then reduce texture...enjoy

I never used Chainfire3D to play it. Apart from the game-killing 'death bug' it works fine

So guys what do you think about the new firefox for Android running on Galaxy S3 !?
I saw it dramaticly smoothet than Google Chrome ( Specially in opening Desktop version websites ) & faster , and lets not forget it supports Flash but Chrome doesnt support it . Im using it as my primary Browser & Im loving it
( Dont forget to check the addons also , you can find useful stuff there )

Well, in my oppinion Stock Browser is smoother then Chrome and Firefox is smoother then Chrome too, but Stock Browser wins this round for me, but what keeps me away from Firefox is that there's no AdBlock extension yet and that Google looks like the one from 10 years ago, when i had Nokia 3310 >_> I have no idea why they dont change that, so that mobile would be recognized as "Android" and would display the correct Google site...

You have to download an addon and tell it how you wanna be interduced to the website ( as an iPhone , Android , iPad , PC or whatever )
ya stock browser is smooth but It doesnt have the smart zoom by double tappin and I dont like the fool animation of swiching between opened tabs delays your work and not handy ( the best tab swicher is on Chrome )

Just test FF and Chrome on xda dev site and FF feels definitely faster and smoother while panning around the page
I guess for me it is a personal preference i have all my bookmarks backed up to my gmail and Chrome restores them on my phone. So for me Chrome wins maybe ff will let me do that but can't be arsed..
The best is stock smooth as firefox and also has reflow of the text when you go onto readiablity mode and chrome and firefox both don't have

Agree. It's by far the best browser I've tried on Android. The quick controls are great.
Have any of you guys seen the m.gizmodo.com site on ff.

I use the stock AOSP browser but I find myself using chrome from time to time when I need the sync feature.I wish chrome supported flash and full screen mode, wouldn't mind if it stayed relatively slow compared to stock browser.

I put Boat Browser over all of the mentioned. In my opinion BB is totally underrated. It's fast, stable, has many features and even addons. The shortcuts for bookmarks on the start page are cool, too.

Try using some gaming tweaks and RAM tweaks such as Supercharger6, game booster, RAM manager, and so on. Maybe some bloatware stock system apps can be freezed or uninstalled in order to free RAM usage, because usually some stock system apps run in background. Hope this helps..

I'm facing the same problem too with my InDroid V6 REMICS ROM too! Its playable but only when things get nasty like when you hit against a wall with your car during the start... Although Dead Trigger seems to work fine... btw, can you give me the link for your CM10 a2 ROM thingy?
Working Fine now...
I've installed CM10 Alpha 3 and GTA lll works fine but with a few lags... No freezes like my old ROM... I also installed Supercharger V6, TweakZ, Bravia Engine and Geeky Engine MOD on my device and it seems to have no improvement whatsoever.... At least GTA3 work :good:
Thanks anyway!
But it also seems lag, so I will try vice city tomorrow

Google Chrome beta!

Google have launched a new beta channel for Chrome Android, the new version is now 25.0.1354.8, it is available on the Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrome.beta
Just done a few tests, in Sunspider it is now as fast as ASOP browser, but scrolling can still be janky, compared to stock Jelly Bean browser, which is disappointing. Try using www.theverge.com, IMO ASOP is still smoother, I now this is beta, but seriously Google please do not release Chrome v25 and still be less smooth than stock browser.
