I have poked around the forum and haven't found want I'm looking for. I want to program a tag to actually send an email. I can get the tag to compose an email but I have to click send. I'm I missing something? Any help would be great.
Thanks guys.
Any help would be great, I found out how to send an sms but still not an email
Hello,
I'm afraid it's impossible, any program I used for NFC wouldn't let me automatically send messages or mail..
Still, the best I've found so for is Tag Writer, from NXP
I know that i found a plugin for my sms. sms msgs work great and automatically send, i would like to find a way to do that with email as well, anyone else have any thoughts on it..

Hi, my company has just changed our phones from G1's to Omnia 7's. I had a handy app on the G1 that I used to forward my SMS's to my personal phone (save carrying both around with me out of office hours). Is there anything available to do this on the Windows mobile 7 omnia at all ? Many thanks
I know that with NoDo you can press and hold on the text you got and it will give you an option to forward it. I don't remember that being there in 7004.

It was there before NoDo... I know cause I dont have NoDo yet and the forward option is indeed there.
Problem is that the OP probably wants an automated process, instead of having to press all SMS's, and for that I don't think there is an application yet.
Hi guys, many thanks for your replies, as Avandor has suggested, I really need this to be an automated process as the phone will probably be at home, so I need it to push it automatically, if possble.
It's been nearly a year now... has any SMS auto-forwarding app popped up yet?
I'm contemplating getting a WP7 phone but need this feature.
Thanks

Mmm, this is all I find:
http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/8427cf9a-070a-4453-8024-56d21d81933e
It just looks like an app that sends pre-written SMSes to specific numbers.
I'm looking for something like this:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.intensoft.smstransfer
It's a security issue / consider Google voice instead

This is not possible in WIndows Phone 7.
Under Windows Mobile 6.5 you could write handlers to intercept text messages as they arrive and do various things, such as send it to an email address using an email account.
But, it would not immiately send. It would go to your outbox and only actually send when you synced.
It's kind of a security issue to allow any application to directly send SMS or make calls without any confirmation. I say kind of because any dev could have called a webservice or done an HTTP post to a site instead. But, imagine a malicious devloper making an app that text messages all of your contacts or random people without your knowledge or confirmation with each send. If they allowed the app you want, they would not be able to stop the malicious app.
You may want to consider Google Voice, since users can SMS the google voice number and it will forward to the numbers or email addresses that you wnat to recieve it on. Then you can reply from any device running a Google Voice app.
Over the New Years weekend I got a text from a friend saying something like "Hope everyone has a safe New Years!". From the message it was obvious that it was sent to more than one person. I just happened to be with another friend who also received the same text. He has a Droid 3 and in his Messaging app the Send button changes to Send to All or something of that nature. Is there a way to easily tell if a message has been sent to multiple recipients without looking at the message info? I feel like this would be a huge help considering that replying to those sends a text to everyone who got the initial message. Hope that was clear.
Long press the message and put view details

Right I get that. But sometimes a message can seem like it only was sent to you, but then after you reply you find out that it indeed was not. I was hoping for an obvious way to tell, like on the Droid 3 messaging app changing the send button to say send to all.

Unless I'm mistaken, that Send to All is a Motoblur specific feature. I don't think by default that SMS messages sent to multiple recipients automatically reply to all recipients. MMS messages might, but not SMS.
I may have to test it later. I'm fairly certain the replies go only to the sender, though.

I figured that was specific to Motoblur. I like that feature though. Makes it really simple knowing if you received a mass text. I was hoping to find an app or ROM that has this feature as well.
Does anyone know of a way to send a quick email to all meeting participants in ICS? I am using the stock calendar and haven't been able to figure out a way to do this.
If I am running late or need to skip a meeting last minute I would like to be able to easily send a message to everyone.
Thanks for any help.
There isn't a way that I'm aware of outside of the web interface. This would be a good addition to future versions.

no. or at least i have not figured out a way.google voice is sms and pictures require mms. i use google voice for text and voicemail but i keep stock mess app on phone just for picture mail. or i just email them.
Yeah I don't actually use the voice app except for keeping records of texts I don't want to store on my phone. Much more convenient to set it to receive messages through messenger app.. saves battery too so your not always syncing online.
Ok....cool thank you both...

The official word from Google on mms support is, paraphrasing, "we're working on it, but don't hold your breath."
