Previously when I would edit my wallpaper the screen would show two rectangles simultaneously; one portrait one landscape... Now the the settings only allow you to set up a wallpaper in portrait. I tried searching but couldn't find any answers.. I use the App rotation locker to get the screen in landscape mode locked and the wallpaper is set up in portrait leaving two black lines down either side of the screen.

I didn't know if you needed any of that or not just thought I would save the time just in case.

When I go to change my wallpaper for the main screen or lock screen, its off. Like its supposed to go wide for scrolling but it just gives me a square to select with which makes the image distorted once saved. Is there a fix? Ive searched but havnt found anything. Help please. Include links if needed.
Thanks
I had the same issue yesterday and found several answers via google...
For the lock screen the best fix seems to be using a photo editor to resize the photo to 980x800 (or I think some multiple thereof), then upload it to your phone and select as wallpaper.
Wallpaper Wizardrii and Wall Switch both work for me for the main screen wallpaper. Both free and available from android market.
I've updated to the new firmware recently (non-rooted) and I've noticed 2 key features. Brightness setting in drop down notification and this grey outline when you crop a picture to set it for the home screen. I want to say this will enable you to have a scrolling wallpaper, but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone have any ideas?
The grey lines are to show you what will be displayed for wallpaper in landscape mode.
My phone is running:
Android Version 4.2.2
CyanogenMod version 10.1.2-mako
Nova Launcher version 2.1.1
When i rotate my home screen from portrait to landscape, the 3 standard android buttons and my dock stay in the same location but rotate 90 degrees. I want the same for my apps and other home screen folders and widgets. I'm sure there is something out there that allows me to prevent the entirety of the home screen from rotating in one block and customize which square pieces rotate and how big they are (like 1x1's or 2x2's), I just can't find it. Has anyone come across something like this?
Hopefully someone can help me past my trouble - my SM-P600 is rooted, still on 4.4.2. When I first set it up and rooted it, I dug around on the forums and figured out a way to set different wallpapers for landscape and portrait. Now, after having to replace my SD card that went bad, the portrait orientation picture is gone, and I can't for the life of me figure out where or how I set up the different portrait mode wallpaper- it's just black/no wallpaper in portrait mode now. I didn't use a 3rd party app, either. Anybody out there know where or how to specify a separate wallpaper for portrait vs landscape viewing???
I have Tab S4 (US unlocked) running stock ROM and unrooted. I've noticed a very annoying issue with Wallpapers.
if the screen rotation is left turned on, the wallpaper also rotates. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
The issue that if we set the wallpaper in portrait mode that looks great, rotating it to landscape the wallpaper becomes pixelated and vice-versa..
Thanks.
I've had this problem too. my solution was to install nova launcher then go to settings-look and feel-screen orientation. From there you select force portrait or landscape. Hope this helps.
Now if only I can find a good wallpaper app besides zedge
