[Q] Under-Volting. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I understand what it is, but am not quite sure how to approach it for my needs. Up until recently I've never used a kernel that supported it. Would someone mind sharing their UV settings and explaining why they have hem set that way?

Quick question

Hey everyone, I have a question for fellow XDA members and was hoping someone could possibly help me out with this. I'm looking for an ICS Rom. I prefer one that has almost everything working and one that doesn't have the screen off bug. Basically a most updated Rom. Thank YOU!

Source question.

I just want to know what would the source do to our current roms that we have. What will the source bring that we don't have at the moment?

Over clocking
Undervoling
Voodoo color
Under the hood tweaks
Safe ics recovery

What is the actual source? (Dumb question) Is it a rom?

Quite sure if your asking this you have seen a few threads with people talking about it. Source for one will help us AOSP lovers get a custom kernel. Quite sure a Google search would help you find more I do as well. This discussion is all over the forum.

I know, but since the ICS build is on FF09, I wanted to know what exactly can the phone benefit it from. Just a general question I wanted to know.

I believe its the coding used to build the kernel

Im fairly new to this section and was curious if its true that samsung is what is hindering us from having aosp developed...or is this exynos related...I just want to make sure I understand this...I apologize in advance but I tried searching for this but didnt see a direct answer but sorry if this was asked b4

Anyone else notice...

Not that this thread helps with the clutter, but has anyone else noticed the dramatic increase of repeat threads? Does anyone ever read anymore? I've came across multiple imei threads, wayyyy to many threads about people complaining about losing root, and numerous other repeat threads, what gives? Forget Kies, and flash a pre-rooted stock rom via odin. Pretty darn simple if you ask me. I'm not the brightest, but after my debacle with CM7 on my captivate, I learned to figure things out myself, or keep reading until I was comfortable with going through the process. I just don't get it. If you need to ask a question, I'm sure there is already a thread going on the topic, ASK THERE. Ok I'm done.

Abyssplug and Pegasusq problems

I see people are able to use these governors, but I can never get my phone to be stable for more than a few minutes before rebooting. Am I doing something wrong? Running vanilla rootbox and kt747 kernel

I thought those both were known to cause issues??
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
So I've heard/read. But I still see people saying they've got it working and reports good battery life. But it begs the question, why include the governors if they're known to fail? So my only thought is there must be some way to get them working

Got me there I've seen some devs remove them so they aren't synced and some just don't bother wasting their time with it I guess. I'm not big on kernels as is so, hopefully someone else will step in or you can research more for yourself I guess.

I wasn't really able to find much research. Then again I'm trying to search on my phone as I'm away from a computer.... But yeah, some little more knowhow would be appreciated. Pegasusq was a quad core governor I believe and somehow tailored to dual core... At least so I've heard
