If you repack francos r12 zimage and roms ramdisk, it should work. But Trip has included jb code in his current kernel. Why dont you try and report results here

Already flashed it worked on leedroid without repack as I found in his thread that you don't need to, already testing it but having some battery problem

Give it a couple of charge cycles to settle. If you still have a problem, a rogue app may be causing the battery drain. I would suggest to use betterbatterystats app to see what is causing the drain...

Also check your governor. Interactive is a power hog. Bu suggest ondemand.

Read the OP for the super sick kernel. Its only for AOSP based ROMs, won't work with sense.

Desire S has kernel 3, which supports the patches described in that thread. They won't work on our phones, with kernel 2.6.

are you using CDMA or GSM?
I have been using slimbean for about a week works great,much faster than stock. Battery life of about 20 hrs. Quadrant performance is attached.
from my HTC one v slimbean 9-1-13 and lilrob's kernel.
Edit: With the 9.29 release Performance is even better. No stability issues.
