[Q] - Any custom kernels for Jelly Bean?

Hi All,
I have bought another GNEX and so I am back... Lol... I have just flashed "Jelly Belly" ROM to my device and I am really liking it but I am wondering if there are any custom kernels for Jelly Bean yet?

yes, there a quite a few now.. trinity kernel, franco kernel, JameBond kernel, just to name a few. btw, trinity jellybean kernels can be found here, in the experimental folder, they all run well http://www.derkernel.com/jbtuna.php#

Thanks... I will take a peek at Trinity. Is it up to par as the stock kernel?

Is there a stock rooted 4.1 GSM for the Nexus out yet? Currently using IMM76I, just had the OTA for the official release on my phone now.

may i ask something? are you BLIND?

simple: NO.
cause 4.1 was the giveaway at the i/o for the visitors. a dump was used for the custom roms by bigxie and others... the nearest hat you asking for.
4.1.1 is the official jelly bean release by google.

Apologies for the wrong section, my mistake. [Moderator; Please could you move this thread?]
I shall go hunt for Bigxie's ROM, thanks, stock is exactly what I am looking for.
I tend to shy away from Custom ROM's I simply don't know enough to get my self out of trouble when it comes to updates/flashing if something goes wrong, hence my initial dumb question!

bigxie first modified the 4.1 version, then the 4.1.1 version, so you're both right.

Nothing Official OR Unofficial really. There are LewaOS and MIUI branches for this, that too with 4.2.2.
There is a kernel binary release for 4.4.2 on htcdev site. So hopefully, will get an upgrade soon, either officially or Custom. :good:
