[Q] [ROM Q] N7100 ROMS on Tmobile Model? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As a total noob (and yes I have watched the video, I found it quite funny) I am unsure if I can use kernels/rom designed for the n7100 on my tmobile based galaxy note 2 (SGH-T889).
Hopefully, because the t-mobile development is pretty dull.
Thanks.

thank you

I'd like an answer to this question as well.

[Q] Why isn't CM 10.1 in the Tmobile S4 Android Developer's forum?

With so many forums for the I9505 S4, I am a little confused.... if I wanted to use the i9505 Cynogenmod rom 10.1 on American Tmobile S4, how come it is not posted in the the Tmobile S4 Android Developer's forum with the other roms? I'm a little confused where to look for new kernels and roms since the I9505 is development is spread out on so many diff. forums.

[Q] ROM of GNote 3 -> GNote 2

In case there is no official GN2 upgrade soon, I just wonder if it will be possible to easily port GN3 Android 4.3 touchwiz ROM to be used on our GN2 ?

Hmm good question. Would be nice
No way..since note 3 has different specs..ram, cpu, screen size..are few mentioning which are all different
Instead Note2 has different variants and roms can be Interchanged among them.u cant flash n7100 rom on n7105.
So just hope samsung updates note officially.

Sky Note 4.3 tested on Note II International (N7105)

Hi All.
I'm too eager to wait for official/leak 4.3 version of Galaxy Note II N7105, so I found and managed to flash "Sky_Note_4.3 R8-1" on my N7105. Please note that this development is originally for USA AT&T version (I317) and doesn't officially support N7105 version. I was very delighted to see most things work on this rom. It took several attempts for me to figure out that external card's speed was the one giving me a hard time and multiple failures to complete flashing. It was an older 8GB class 4. It took only 1 attempt to successfuly install this rom from my newer 32GB class 10.
THANKS to seanzscreams and everyone who contributed on this I317 project, my eyes finally saw beautiful new 4.3 on Note II. This was long overdue from Samsung side but thank goodness we have you developers to save the day...
Some things I noticed:
- overheating
- wifi didn't work (there's a fix for this on the thread but I didn't try it)
- Note 3's 'note application' crashes after about 1min when inside the app
- it's possible to enter hardware/device version inside "About" option
- looks awesome! :good:
Understandably, this rom still can't be used for daily regular use, but if there's anyone out there looking to at least get a feel of what will N7105 4.3 look like, SkyNote 4.3 might be the answer to your question.
Cheers

Roms Question

I have searched but I can't find the answer I was looking for and I even checked frequently asked questions for ASGNII. My question would be can the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II run roms from the International Note II since they both have the same processor with out any major modifying like to the kernel?

This is the thread for the instructions on how to make a N7100 ROM work with the i317 so yes, there are a quite bit of tweaks you would need to go into and even after that, it's no guarantee.
There are a few N7100 threads that have their ROMs converted for i317 and N7105.
Not as easy as it used to be (eg HTC Inspire using DesireHD roms).

Are there any current NOTE 5 builds out that were derived from an actual Tmobil code

Brain Truss..
I have looked at all the offerings in the development section, and I am wondering is there any development based on a port of an actual Tmobil Note 5 and not one of the international NOTE 5's ...
Many Thanks As Always
:cyclops:
I haven't been able to find any. I'm anxious to see if anyone is taking on the task of porting the mm 6.0 that was uploaded recently from a t-mobile note 5
