Hey
I have had enough of my branded software, what custom rom is best to install?
I just want a rom based on JB, like a stock one.

They are pretty same, but I've experienced much better battery life in ordroid. So I recommend it for sure

Please stop comparing ROM's ... Developers works very hard to build a ROM the least you can do is test it by yourself.

TheFroyomod...it has speed of the light....
SkyDragon Sense, Dsensed, SeMistock & Stock Roms. Next Targe ~ ~ ~ > JB or Kelly Bean

Ok, i can say too that they are pretty much the same... have flashed almost all of them!
So, stick with the one that have the tweaks that you like most!
PS: This might be my fist post here on XDA, but... im not new... lets say that i know how to search haha
Hope this comment helped you

Recommend a ROM

Later today I'll be trading my Galaxy Nexus for a One X. Of course the first thing I'll be doing is to dev unlock and get flashing.
I don't like Sense so ideally I'd like to use a CM10 based ROM or at least a de-sensed ROM. I would like something relatively stable. I've had a quick look at what's on offer here in the forums but unfortunately don't have time to read through all the replies to figure out just how stable the ROMs may be.
It would be extremely helpful if someone could recommend a ROM based on this information and maybe give me a brief outline of any bugs. Any information at all is helpful - it's a bit overwhelming coming to a new device as I'm sure many of you have experienced before.
Many thanks in advance.

Well the one x is a big phone, so try paranoid android... It's cm10,it's stable and it's pretty cool if you can display the tablet versions of the apps und resize all apps to your liking...

If you are into customizations, I would recommend ViperX based on 4.0.4 with sense removed in aroma installer.
I am currently on TeamNDVRu's cm10 a12 jb and really happy about it.

That sounds good, I'll check it out. Have you found many bugs with the CM10 build apart from the reported mhl weirdness etc?

i think AOKP ICE COLD JELLY suits you. It is a non sense rom and have a good battery life. And it is quite stable for me:good:

Other than those stated In OP, my wifi strength is a bit low. But doesn't bother me. Battery is good for moderate use, phone calls, emails, xda etc. No gaming for me. Give it a try. There are also other CM10 roms available if you don't like it.

Try ARHD with ST ? Or CoreDroid or Viper ? I personally highly recommend ARHD with ST unless you want full customizations ...

I personally love the work of Owain94 - CM10 Domination ROM build 6 with paranoid customization and for the kernel used either faux or ncx!
Been using it for quite sometime the only instability is the soft reset that happens on the device but overall its a great ROM!
What about jelly bean rom, what are u guys recommend?, all i need is all the vital function is works, like camera

Running the same ROM and loving it. :good:
Currently running CM10 a12 by Tbalden. Only minor issues are that the phone overheats sometimes and CPU values don't seem to stick. Seems fine otherwise.
Thanks for the help everyone!

If it has the same base, just install the new version on top using cwm and without superwipe. If it's a new base, superwipe is recommended and you'll also need to flash the boot.img.

I think best camera is in Tbaldens JB/CM10 ROM( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786696 )...
But its still poor compared to the Sense camera...And if you used Onexed camera mod it is day and night difference, sadly but true.:/
I tryed al rooms and I can say renovate room 5.2.0 is the best, has the most feature included (camera mode, sound mode etc.) Also a excellent battery life combined with the faux kernal , after 2 hours and a half on standby ( checked 3-4 times the clock ) I still had 100% battery .and you can install without sense if you want .

Recommended ROM for HOX

Hey, guys! At first, I want to say that I am Xperia arc S developer and getting HOX tomorrow. Of course I won't use stock, so I'm asking you about good ROM which is worth recommendation. I was thinking about Android Revolution HD. It has Sense, I like Sense :3 Is CM10 good? Or maybe AOKP JB? I like AOKP more than CM, but please... Give me some suggestions. I want my ROM to be awesomely fast and light. And, I think stock based - Sense camera gives amazing quality, AOSP one kills it.
Viperx :good:
ARHD

I liked the Rennovate Rom a lot when i was on ICS. Sense and very fast, very clean, very stable. Maybe the colors where a bit too blue, but i was the fastest ICS Sense rom i've tried.

another vote for ARHD : a smooth, fast Rom. close to stock sense, but with some nice tweaks.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Hy I am using CM10 and it is fast and smooth but battery destroyer, I have battery case so battery terms it is bad but if you want the pure android experience it is a ROM for you. ARHD is on my list to try but I know that LeeDroid is a nice ROM for ours dear HOX. Play with them, I did and it is getting addictive. Give me a thanks if it helped Sorry for my bad English
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately LeeDroid is very outdated as Lee is taking a break with his busy life Jan487 is also leaving XDA to focus more on IRL, but his teammates should be continuing development on ViperX.
I really like Sense so mike1986 ARHD is my primary choice. Since Mike decided to go to the latest leaked ROM on Jelly Bean which is not for all the CIDs, I moved to Lextermina AbsterGo™ and I love this ROM
ARHD 11 is a way to go. All in the mix - JB, sense UI, some tweaks. Real fast and smooth.
Sent from my HTC One X using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
OrDroidX is the way... However as you can see... These questions are very useless cause everyone post an idea that is different to the others... So the best way you can see which is the best rom is to try them all...

Exactly. I also have not suitable CID so we both have to wait for official JB with hboot update. I will try Lextermina later. Now I am on Renovate and it is great.

Yeah, the base is indeed the Ordroid.
But the consept is different. The main goal is the best battery time.

And when i test the 4.6 i think that your team have reach the goal because the battery was amazing, but I prefer ordroid because I watch it that is more stable! Anyway ordroid and blade are the best roms anf between them are minimal differents, so test the two roms and decided!!

i will definitely check those two ROMs that you've mentioned. As a viper fan since the ICS version, i only read and learn on their thread, so its time for me to explore some of the awesome ROMs out there
i'll just read on their thread first as i don't want to flash rom after rom without knowing some of their issues. also, transferring all my apps is a consumes a lot of time
Thanks for the reply guys!:good:
Yes, better try it yourself and deside which will suit you best.
About stability- both roms rocked!

Do you Guy's want ICS with Sense 3.6 ?????

I have looked all over the desire forum and found not 1 sense 3.6 with ICS rom for our device. I think people are interested but i need to know facts do you want this rom ????
If i get enough people saying yes ill start a thread and port official ICS with sense 3.6 from desire s to our device.
i normally only dev for my own desire but when its stable ill release to xda user's. This will give us stable ICS but keeping the sense as we all love it to some degree. Let me know your thoughts on this by posting below or answering the poll thanks everyone.

cool ill get to work on it but obviously i wont release or open a thread untill its in alpha stage and it boots up and works call's/sms data ect. but this can be worked on more easy because sense 4 is very heavy on the cpu but sense 3.6 is not so it will be alot smoother than the sense 4 roms.

I think we are all interested in a ROM like these, I think Sense is one of the best (launcher ?!) in the android market. It has to be stable and at least moderately fast, otherwise it will be doomed to extinction.

From the performance point of view it's a bad idea. ICS is not stable enough.Contribution to 3.x kernel or features fixes, camera fixes would bring much more.

[Q] What is the best ROM for daily use?

Hi guys!
It's wonderful to see that so many people use nowadays the beautiful wildfire!
I've buy some new phone...the last is the moto g...but the build quality, the small dimensions....I love my wildfire!
But I have the stock sense...so instagram, telegram and other programs don't work...even the memory is ridicolous.
So is there a ROM for daily use? I mean smooth and with gps, camera, etc working well?
Sorry for my bad english and thankyou very much for help me
