[Q] which dialer its this and where to get it?

Hi
I'm currently on pays rom 1.3 and it uses this dialer
I quiet like it, but I would also like to upgrade to a newer rom and radio.
Can anyone confirm this dialer on a rom they tried?
If I can avoid sense that would be preferred as I use launcher pro and beautiful widgets

Looks like the standard Android launcher with a skin.

That was what I was afraid of.
Actually pretty cool skin, but guess I won't find it elsewhere then. Just have to cross my fingers and hope pays will update his rom soon

I saw that in nexus one screenshot thread. the developer showed this exact dialer and share the method for installing. I don't remember what page it was on tho.

Looks as if all the rom masters are using Motorola's hamsrtung versions of roms to build from
the dead giveaway is no seperate groups in contacts which is built into googles virgin roms that Moto seems to remove
Lock screen Is Moto styled
I am presently using 2.2 oem rooted tt removed bloat -- zeam front end and gb keyboard works perfect but
as wE ALL know something about ANDROID makes you want to flash the rom and experiment
this is not a knock at all the rom masters just would like to see something other than Moto based roms.

I believe he's actually calling stock generic android Motorola based. Like the stock unlock screen and what not.

Motorola uses the virgin Google lock screen, so that's not a valid comparison. And you have to add the groups (except favorites) by hand

just flash cm7 and everything will work for you

I stand correctd about lock screen but how to i make my groups showup iback up through google all clients are in groups
they show in rooted stock 2.2 as all or group mode i can't find how to switch to group mode.

looks good but no gropus in contacts no way to add groups
this is a must have when sorting contacts easier to access remember we use our phone for business not just play when you have hundreds of contacts grouping is the most effcient way to sort them.
I would like to load a gingerbread rom but not until grouping is avaiable.

Ok now I get what you mean normal froyo 2.2 has groups maybe try out some of those roms? There are alot of good ones cm 6 skyraider virtuous to name just a few.

Aosp dialer for sense roms

Has anyone managed to get the aosp dialer to work in a sense based rom. I know it was possible on the hero cause both of my roms supported it. I just updated from the hero and miss the dialer.

Im pretty sure I flashed a senselike rom last month that had aosp dialer, I remember a post asking him how he did it.

I am trying to find a custom rom for myself and a friend that has emoji built in.Do anyone know of one that had it?

Actually Skynote has the emoji built into the Rom. You just access it thru a different keyboard. Works great, found HERE:
