I'm having a problem, I started plying around with Google Now earlier, having fun seeing what it would do for me. After that, now something keeps reading everything aloud in a lot of the apps on the phone as I touch them. Talkback is off. Any ideas?
Have you tried restarting the phone? Are you sure this isn't Samsung S voice that's dictating to you? Check accessibility section in settings.

I found the answer elsewhere, I allowed websites to install scripts in the settings and that's what was doing it.

Like may of you i slide my phone in and out of my pocket 100 times throughout the day. Using it to get emails, social updates texting etc etc. I find myself constantly turning up or down the volume when i don't intend to.
Could just be the crappy case i have on it but wondered if there might be a setting that could disable these keys for the initial volume menu that pops up. Once programs are running and i need to change the volume, I'm okay with that, just from the home screen let's say.
Thanks!

Don't think this is rom related so I'll make it as general question. I for months I'll send a txt in Google voice and it will immediately says message can't be sent. I then it re sends it And it goes through. that's annoying. I Google don't it and didn't find a vast amount of complaints and the few I found could t fix it. Any suggestions welcome.

Okay so I switched from Verizon last week before tmobs new plans because I'm saving a ton of money with a student discount. First thing I did was root my phone and get my trusty wifi tethering app up and running. Now to my dismay even though I'm not using tmobs tethering app it looks like they still are tracking the data usage. I'm finding a ton of different posts about fixes, but they all seem to be fixing different things. As of right now I have a tethering app that works, my only issue is how do I keep tmob from seeing I'm tethering. Again I did try searching just not sure which thread is for what I need.
Use hotspot shield vpn from playstore.

Wow! The last two threads I opened you had to move Kenny. You are on the ball today aren't you!? Lol.
And to the OP, you have to change the user agent on your computer. There are a bunch of threads about tethering already. Google is your friend

I know there are issue was they all seemed to be discussing different aspects.
Broke the screen on my Note 2 and just got the replacement from Asurion. The last time this happened to me I went through the stock setup process and all of my apps were downloaded automatically. This time no such luck. I tried resetting the phone again but that didn't work. It is really annoying to have to manually download all 200 apps. Any way to force the auto install process.?

Good question. Same happened to me. I only had trial version of helium at the time unfortunately so I couldn't just restore everything. Really glad I had my app data though... Good luck.

I haven't looked into it too closely, it seems random to me- sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't(I'm always happy when it does). I don't know if there is an apk or some functionality that some devs leave in and some take out of their roms.... or else if it is just kind of random. But I always do choose the backup and restore options when signing into the market.
