Anyone get this to work? Fully that is? The numbers on the clock itself went away, but the day of the week and date is still present.
I recently stumbled across this while looking for clock widgets. And was wondering if its possible for the Dev's and or someone to port this mod.
Status clock Mod
1) Just a port for now?
2) Maybe all the dev's Can begin adding this as a default mod included in their ROMs?
I see the search button is broken still. I've alreadt started working on this

If you read the thread it clearly says I'll do the clock after I get am/pm toggle working.
The link he provided has both in it like I plan on doing

Hey everyone, so I'm running golauncher ex with the ICS theme and clock add on but I'm looking for the transparent version of the ICS clock. I had thought someone had posted this somewhere on one of our boards but I'm unable to find it. Anyone seen this around?
Thx!

I just stumbled across this thread. The issue is that its not just simple status bar transparency. That's easy, and it's already in the settings menu in ROM Control for AOKP. With MIUI though, you can have the status bar as totally transparent when viewing the launcher/desktop, but it's not transparent, or it's semi-transparent when you are viewing apps like the browser or when viewing the lock screen. So the question is, how could one implement different status bar settings for different views as it is implemented in MIUI?

I was really just trying to find a way to implement a clear status bar on the desk top/launcher on GB aosp roms (specifically, on decks reloaded.) I wasn't so concerned with the status bar in apps, browser, etc. I've tried uot kitchen which was mentioned above, but wasnt successful. as to why it wouldn't work, I don't know.

as i said in the pm's i really think its the way the statusbar is incorporated in the rom, best bet would to be ask in the rom thread that way a developer could give the right answer instead of me guessing at it.... lol im guessing the thread you found didnt work either?

Thanks, life, I just asked in the reloaded general thread.
Yes there is. Google search pvyparts battery bar. He wrote an app that does this. Only downside is that u have to edit ur systemui to get it to work. Since every rom is different its hard to make it flash able due to didferent systemui.apks. this is the battery bar mod I added to my cm9 rom.

we are actually talking about the statusbar and making it transparent. in reloaded there is an app for the battery bar and is simple to adjust. but in the rom it has a ICS-like statusbar (all black with the ics-blue signal bars and battery icon and what not). What atljatl is wanting is the entire statusbar to be transparent. Like in the miui and some sense roms that have had the flashable zips to make transparent statusbar.
Gotcha. That is a simple mod in the systemui.apk. just changed either the icon or xml backgroubd to transparent. Again I'm mobile so can't do it fir u right now but will when I get home if ud like

Hey all I was looking at alternative Clock apps and found Timely and I was wondering if their is a way to make it the default clock app to open when I single click the clock in the status bar? If it's possible a quick how to would be awesome! Since the app can sync across all android devices, I want to apply the same setting to the status bar clock (if possible) on my Nexus 7 tablet (1 generation) as well. I'm running [ROM][SPH-D710][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 Official Nightly Builds on my phone and Official Cm10.1.3 on the Nexus 7. All help is much appreciated!

Disclaimer: This is based on AOKP, I'm pretty sure it's this way under CM too, but not 100%, so I apologize if this doesn't work for you
Settings => Rom Control => Clock (under statusbar)
Then you can change the actions for clock short click, clock long click, and clock double click.

You can try to backup and delete the CM clock and see if timely pops up. It's worth a shot.

Tried this as well but the status bar just continuously force closes till I restore the clock

It requires to re-map the clock to the timely app, then. Which is beyond my knowledge.
Is the long-click stuff mentioned here helpful? https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-962
Based on my linux skillz, it does seem like their should be some way to do this via symlinking, but I can't even find the clock app in the places the other apps seem to live, so I don't know how to go about doing this, sorry

Heh actually the guy was asking the same question as I am. The long press I already knew about I just want to click on the clock app and it use my clock. The forum also said what I knew that older versions of cm allowed it but for some reason 10.1 doesn't or at least I don't know how to access it
