I'm looking an bluetooth in ear headphone better than stock headphones of s3.
I found only Jaybird, is there any other options?
Greetings

I'm using the LG HB700 and I love them. Great sound and amazing battery life.
And....It's on sale at Newegg right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...C-GoogleAdwords-_-EncoreTuesday2012-_-NA-_-NA

I agree with this sentiment. I was lucky enough to get them for free when Verizon made a mistake in the mobile app, listing them as free one month. Battery life is awesome. Sound quality is superb!
I would get logitech wired headphones. I have had many böse headphones and for $60, none of them compared. They also have a in line button and mic designed for Android. 5/5 overall

i have the plantronic backbeat 903+ and i like it alot. it's pretty discrete but not invisible. sound quality is decent and it also features this function where it opens the mic to pick up and amplify the surrounding noise if you pause your music so you can hear what's going on.
I got mine on sale for 30 bucks. pretty decent. lasts about 6 hours on continuous music. I also took it out for a run and it didn't jiggle. stayed put and comfy.

I have a broken 903+ too, i think its good until started to use stock headphones. Or maybe we can say wired headphones are better, right? But the functionality of 903+ is superb i think.

What would be a good Bluetooth headset that has noise cancellation while on calls and could allow listening to mp3s or Pandora?

Jawbone Icon, but I hear the battery life isn't quit that good. That's the only thing that's prevented me from getting it. Maybe someone else can confirm or recommend something better.

I have a convertible and have always used a bluetooth headset in my car. I have tried almost every dual mic mono bluetooth and the best overall brand is Plantronics. The Voyager has the highest ratings, but is so big and uncomfortable. The 975 is very good, but pricey. The first Jawbones were not great, but the newest Icon is a great headset. However, for the money, the headset I have found to be the most feature rich and best sounding is the Motorola 790. These are all mono sets.
Jawbones are great headsets. Nice audio quality, but not the best volume.
Blueants are another great set, I have used them for a while now.
If you want a stereo, jaybirds are awesome. Hands down.

I agree, and the blueant also has an app from the market that allows custimizations for the headset, if i was honestly gonna invest more money into a bt headset thats the direction i would go
Just fyi;
the blueant Q1 (the one I have) the app doesn't work for Froyo.
and,
the Blueant Q2 (the one I want to get) doesn't have an app yet. However, the Q2 is still pretty new, so I'm sure the app is en route.
Supposedly the Q2 has some kickass sound. Can't wait, personally
Had the original jawbone for years now and it was a ga=ood headset but uncomfortable fit. Got the blueant z9i but the noise cancellation wasn't as good as the jawbone. Just picked up the jawbone icon and the noise cancellation is unparalleled. People can't even tell I'm in my car with the windows halfway down. Plus it has a much smaller and more comfortable fit than the original. Oh yeah, it handles a2dp also! Definitely the way to go. Only complaint, volume could be louder.
Ya know, that's the problem with so many of these headsets. They just don't have the volume for real world applications.
It's like they only think people use them in a car or in the office. That's why I took back my Jawbone. Great set, but I couldn't hear squat.
Oh yeah, the Blueant Q1 and Q2 support A2DP...
I have the BluAnt Q2 and it works pretty good for playing music and everything else.

I second that motion, jawbone is the way to go. Battery life is approximately 4 hours more or less(constant streaming). It does support Ad2p and extreamly well. Everybody's talking about the audio not loud enough but if you have a rooted phone you can find dsp manager, (I know cayogen offers it in his roms) and you can find the standalone apk and adjust the volume till its too loud.

Just thought I'd share. Ordered some JBuds J3M Micro Atomic from the JBuds site. All sites have these listed pretty high, but JBuds is selling them for 19.95. Used coupon code "minimag" (without quotes) for 20% off.
Not a bad deal. I'm hoping majority of the music features work for the MT4G.
Still can't post links but it's at jlabaudio dot com. 19.52 shipped.
Amazon has these for 69.95
Just ordered a pair
thanks for the code
How do these sound? (And how well does the mic work?) The stock ones stink, and my iPod ones also kind of stink (and they don't have a mic) Thanks!

What music/call functions can be controlled by these headphones (e.g., next song, answer, hang up, etc.)?
The mic works well. Single click to answer/end call.
Using playerpro it does recognize single click to pause/play, double click to forward to next song, 3 quick clicks to rewind to the beginning of the song and 4 clicks to go to the previous song.
4 clicks seems to be a hit or miss. Sometimes it goes to the previous song and starts playing and sometimes it pauses on the previous song.
As far as quality, these are wonderful.

on topic I just ordered a pair. have some sony earbuds but the mic doesn't work and it only handles play/pause. Looking forward to having a more functional headset, if the quality it close to the sony's (which wouldn't be hard), i'll be pleased.
just bought a set too the mt4g ones i have are terrible and the koss ones i have dont have a mic built in so this will be nice to have so i dont have to unplug when people call me hahah.

Yep I left the earphone on with the burn in tool the whole night lol and the 2nd smallest cushion fits great and it stays better if you hook the cable over your ear as mentioned in the instruction.
Just got them today. Took a week. Phone controls are fantastic, make these worth their time even if they aren't amazing in sound quality. Long press to genius make them exactly what I wanted, music and voice control. Right now they sound a little tinny, have to play with EQ settings to get a good response. Gonna run the burn-in tonight and see if they improve. For 25 bucks they are a fantastic deal, even if they don't get better.
Did the burn-in for about 5 hours yesterday. After I put on a wide range of music and used Poweramps EQ to create a general eq setting. Had to drop the preamp really low and give the lows and highs a significant boost, but now I'm very happy. High's are clean and sharp, mids are steady, and lows are decent. If you are willing to spend some time with an EQ, these can be both a hands free solution and a solid set of headphones.
They aren't working as a headset for me on CM7, but they sound great. Headset works great on my wife's stock mt4g.

How cheap? if your looking for stereo bluetooth, check out the creative WP-250, holy balls it sounds amazing with beats. I got it for 48 bucks shipped on Amazon, and the bass is the best I've seen on bluetooth stereo ear buds. Regularly priced at 69 bucks, and i would have paid that if i knew they sounded this good.
That still works with calls right?

Before my current set, I used some Motorola S9s. They were not as good as they advertised. The sound quality was ok, battery life was about 6 hours, and they were definitely not sweatproof, as they claimed. After about 3 or 4 weeks of workouts, they crapped out on me. After a particularly sweaty workout, the controls refused to work. I couldn't even get the power buttons working to turn them off. And I had lost my receipt so there went any exchange.
I ended up buying this pair by Rocketfish at Best Buy. So. Much. Better. The sound quality is fantastic, they are very comfortable, and the battery life is pretty much as advertised. All the music and phone controls are on the left earpiece, so I don't even have to unlock my phone to skip a track or raise the volume. And the microphone is excellent; sometimes the person on the other line thinks I hung up on them because of the lack of background noise coming from my end. These are not necessarily noted as being sweatproof, but I've had no problems whatsoever with sweat after nearly 3 months of use. However, as a precaution, I still wipe them down when I feel they may be getting too wet, and I bought a couple of these covers to make sure sweat doesn't get into the charging port.
Oh, and for $10 more, you get a no-questions-asked, 2-year replacement plan.

You can always go with a PS3 headset too. I have one now and its bass isn't the best but the battery life is over 8 hours (constant streaming) and I have had it for about a year now using it 3-4 times a week listening to audiobooks at work. Cost me $30 and goes with my PS3 too. And it does work with calls, buttons on it to answer/hold and volume buttons.
Bluetooth volume boost
I have a Samsung Captivate that runs on Firefly 3.0 froyo rom. The problem is that the audio of music and most importantly videos are not loud enough. Voodoo control plus does a great job of increasing the volume for wired headset. But I use bluetooth headset to listen to music and watch movies. I can hardly hear the audio in noisy environments.
Can someone suggest some app or fix or mod to increase volume in bluetooth headset?
I came to know that volume+ app for gingerbread does this job. Any similar app for froyo? or Voodoo control plus can actually help with BT headset volume boost?

I've never done an actual benchmark test on the battery. Perhaps this weekend, I'll pair it with my laptop and leave it streaming throughout the day(s)
I've been pretty happy with the LG Tone headphones I got a while back. They have a collar piece, but it's not bad. Very good battery life and sound.
I got a Motorola s10-hd for $25 from woot.com and it works great

I have an LG Tone headset too (HPS-730). They are pretty comfortable and claimed to have a talk time of 15hours. Although i haven't yet tested that to the max, but i've run through the whole day without charging them.
GS3 has aptX,and the problem is that there are almost no BT headphones that take advantage of this. I have Samsung HS3000 and use with good quality IEMs. It is not as good quality as wired, but is way better than non-aptX headsets.
If you are determined to get a native BT, it is a pretty short list with aptX, like maybe 2-3.
There's a brand new Motorola Bluetooth (S-11 maybe?) Headset which replaces the S10. It has apt-x, the earbuds are adjustable, looks pretty nice. No personal experience though.
I freakin' love my Jabra Sport. Comfortable, light weight, and holds enough charge for 4 trips to the gym each week. And the sound quality is great, with plenty of volume. (http://www.jabra.com/products/bluetooth/jabra_sport/jabra_sport)
I've had the Moto S9 and S10 (essentially identical) and they suck. Moisture always gets in and they stop working. Sound quality is weak and the volume isn't loud enough. Avoid these at all costs. Look at any list of reviews on these and you'll see the same results from everyone.
My old Samdung headphones from the S4 don't control volume properly (up, not down) and leak noise on voice calls, so I'm looking for a good set of earbuds that is fully compatible.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I assume you were looking for a wired option, but I've been using the LG tone hbs 700 Bluetooth headphones and really like them. I had seen them, but I was not sure of the quality.
Generally, yes, I was looking for wired, because I tend to think that sound quality woiuld be better and less radio signal headed toward my brain via bluetooth would be preferred.
I appreciate the recommendation and hope others will chime in. Can't believe that there's no headset included in the box by AT&T. Cheap bastards.

I'm not disagreeing, but just stating my experience.
I bought the HBS-730s twice. The first pair I returned because I thought they were defective. The music (all MP3s and using the stock music app on the previous Jelly Bean firmware) would play just fine, but every minute, the music would cut out for a second then come back.
I returned the pair to Best Buy and got a second set. Same issue, so I returned them too.
I also looked online and there are reports of tons of people having reception problems.
Then I got my Sony set and no problems at all. No changes were done to my phone either. ?

I would pick ttpod T1 (or T1E). T1 is a balanced version and T1E is T1 version with more bass. SM E10 is also a good choice but its treble is a bit too bright in my taste.
Both of them are good for all kind of musics.
