Hello!
I am using pacman rom v15 in my DHD. I have noticed that if i plug in headphones and listen to music, any notifications about incoming sms are totally muted.
Is there a way to unmute them somehow so I can hear it through my headphones?
Thanks!
anyone?

When playing music and my headphones are plugged in, sound only comes through my headphones. If I remove my headphones the music pauses. However, once I plug my headphones back in, my music will play again but the alerts (text) play on the headphone and speaker. Does this happen for anyone else? Also when using my headphones the phone rings through speaker not the headphone. I am running a rooted rom.
Disregard the second part. It is ringing through my headphone and speaker when an incoming call comes. Maybe by design. I'm new here.
I work in a quiet office, and listen to Google Music over my bluetooth headset (903BackBeat... altec lansing?)
On my old phone (G2 with CM7), rings and notifications and such would sound ONLY over the bluetooth when paired. Nobody was disturbed!
With my T989 (using teamchopstick's CM9), rings and notifications sound BOTH on the speaker and the bluetooth. So, I have to put the phone on silent to not disturb anyone -- music still works, but now i never know when i get messages.
Is there any setting to get CM9 to have the bluetooth sound behavior i want: silent phone, all sounds over bluetooth while paired?
Alternatively, is there any other ICS ROM that will let me do this? At least my G2 had a notification light that i could keep an eye on for messages -- there's no BLN ICS ROM for the T989 yet so I'm stuck!
Thanks all.

Hi, when playing music through my headset (included with the One X), with the stock player and standard notification sounds, my One X mutes the music and sounds the notification sound, but also 1 or 2 seconds the music plays through the phone speaker and after that just normal through the headset. And when I get a call, the music mutes and I hear nothing at all, as long I don't answer the call. Haven't tested if the ringtone plays through te speaker though.
Anyone know what kind of problem this is? Beats Audio?
As the title says, ringtones are being played through speaker while headset is connected... How can I change this?
ROM: Xperia ultimate hd 2.0.3
Thanks
i do not believe you can. Every phone i encountered till now play`s the ringtone on speaker ass well with the headphones beacuase you might have earphones conected but not with you, and you will not be able the hear phone ringing this way..
With GB it was possible. Thanks anyway.
I'm currently using a stock based GB rom, Aurora 0.7.
I have a strange issue when listening to music with my headphones connected. I have the phone in silent mode so without the headphones connected the notifications make no sound. However, with the headphones connected and still in silent mode, when I get a notification the sound plays out of the phone speakers. I would expect this to not make a sound at all, or play the notification sound through the headphones.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Thanks.
For anyone interested, I gave SoundAbout a try, but this did not work. The best workaround seems to be Hearing Saver. The settings can be updated so there are no notification sounds played at all when the headphones are connected. Both these apps require running a background service.
