lost IMEI can't access my phone through windows - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I lost my IMEI and i need help getting it back.
I have tried to load my stock rom but the IMEI is not restored.
I tired to use the EFS tool but it didn't work cause i never had a EFS backup.
i can't put data on to the phone. IT will show up on my computer as SGH-I137M and the storage is empty.
All help is appreciated thanks!

IMEI shows Null/Null. No backup efs.

Long story short, I've got a Rogers Note II i317M that I did NOT modify, but someone else did. I suspect they flashed a ROM for the wrong type, therefore the IMEI under status shows unknown, and *#06# gives Null/Null.
I've checked, and the efs folder is empty. There is no backup made. Is it possible to use somebody else's efs folder, and enter in the IMEI/specific info? I have the IMEI and SN, or is it much more involved?
I'm not familiar with how to use Odin to re-partition (never done that). Could that possibly restore the files needed? The phone will not connect to any towers nor recognize a SIM card.
THanks in advance for any help.

Phone can't read IMEI, Param_bin needed please!

Hi, my N7105 has lost the capability of reading its IMEI (and even knowing what model it is) after I flashed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531965
I have an EFS backup, but it's useless, it seems that I need the param_bin for the N7105, because as I've read, the phone didn't really lost its IMEI, it only can't access it. Please help me!
Solved. Just flashed the via Odin the .bin files that were inside the .tar.gz backup made with EFS Pro, then the IMEI, model number and signal got back. Then EFS Pro was able to recognize my phone and restored the full backup, now even the serial number is restored. Hope this helps anyone who finds himself in a similar situation.
I am in a the same situation, but my efs backup is just a efs.img created by efs_backup_restore_win.
Restoring using it can't bring back my imei.
[Edit] EFS pro keep saying Device not connected. But I already granted the ADB connection in my phone.

[Q] Is there a way to repair network problems in sgh-i317?

I have the note 2 from at&t and I can't even call with it because it has network problems, i have efs backup from efs professional, twrp and nv items made with qpst in .qcn extension and with a software called nv items reader writer that makes the file in .txt, everytime I restore those no matter the way I do it I've end with a crappy signal in my phone, even with no signal at all, I've erased the efs from the phone with odin, with efs professional and with the secret menu *#197328640* in umts/common/nv rebuild/erases all efs1/2/3, it says that erases rf cal too so I'm wondering if that could be the problem since I don't know what is that and didn't do a backup of that, so my question is if someone could help me with that problem, I've been like 3 months now with that issue and can't solve it even with my efs backups.
By the way, the antenna was repaced and the problem persist.
Thanks in advance and if I'm not so clear let me know.

Please somebody how to restore my IMEI

After i flash CM11 my imei is gone and i forget to backup my efs. How to get back my IMEI?? Back flashing my firmware region? Or what? Please help me. Thanks so much if you help me to solved my problem [emoji1]
EFS is a system folder in the root directory of your phone that contains very important and basic information about your device's identity like Wi-Fi MAC address, Bluetooth MAC address and the MOST IMPORTANT - IMEI address (nv_data.bin).
Now if this EFS partition accidentally gets corrupted or erased, your phone’s IMEI number will get erased and your device will become completely useless and you won't be able to make voice call further, as the carrier network will not recognize your phone. This can happen for a variety of reasons, sometimes flashing a wrong or corrupted ROM. This kind of damage is not accepted by the service center. Only solution that the service center provides is to replace the motherboard of the device and that costs a lot of $$$!
Only a BACKUP of your EFS can save your phone if something goes wrong with your EFS partition.
(Some of you have already messed up your IMEI. Check Troubleshooting forum for details.)
