I need a lot of help - HTC One V

So the other night I rooted my HTC one V on Virgin mobile here in the U.S in CA using the All in one ToolKit.
I fallowed the steps even watched a few youtube videos to help me along the way and I got the Bootloader unlocked and the phone Rooted.
I did make a mistake and didn't make a backup while in recovery mode and just decided to give the roms a spin.
So i fallowed the steps.
Recovery flashed the rom (pacman rom)
Recovery flashed the GAPPS
and Fastbooted the boot.img file in the Pacman Rom zip folder from command promt.
rebooted
got a splash screen.
Bootloops
I've been having boot loops with all the roms and now getting worried.
I can get into Bootloader but i can't get a rom to work. Or go back to Locked and Stocked.
Pls help I've been fallowing all these rom tut and unbrick tuts for a while and giving up hope.

[Q] One V cdma boot problem. please help

Hey guys my buddy asked me to root rom and install a kernel on his one v from virgin mobile. being as i have done this before to multiple phones i was happy to help. i unlocked the bootloader, rooted it. everything was smooth up til there. i did not put a rom on it yet because he urged me to install a kernel so he could overclock his one v. i was aprehensive but i did it anyway. now his phone wont work. im not surprised but i need to fix it. ive tried installing roms to make it work because the backup ive created in twrp wont boot. so im thinking its a kernel problem. no matter what rom i use it will either not boot it will freeze at the screen that says htc and with the red wording below it. or it will boot into the rom and then freeze or run for about 30 sec then restart and it will repeat this until it dies. ive looked everywhere for ways to get it back to stock ive flashe countless roms none work ive flashed many kernels and none work as well. please help. i would like to get it working on a rom with a working kernel but i will put it back to stock if i have to. any help is greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.
You could flash a ruu ....but the problem is you don't have your software number ...or you have to go to another Rom ...which will make the phone boot normally .but don't forget to flash its specific kernel ...if you don't so that the Rom won't boot
What he said. I recommend using the RUU to restore back to stock.
Re-reroot/unlock it, then read more on which kernel to use. You most likely are using the wrong kernel.
What rom are you using currently - ?
What Kernel did you flash - ?
What error do you get with TWRP - ?
ive only been able to get a couple roms to actually boot. the one that is on it now is Amazing Sense. there is no kernel to flash with this rom and no boot.img for it either. i believe it is included. i have decided to RUU and try everything from the beginning. however i cannot find the RUU for HTC One V in the USA on Virgin Mobile. if you could post a link to that i would be very grateful. i dont see any errors on TWRP and i believe it is the stock rom i flashed last. but like i said with the rom im on it is included, so whatever is on there. thanks again for your help guys.
just curios would the sprint ruu work on the virgin mobile one? it may sound dumb but i have seen people use the recovery.img from it. was just wondering if it would brick the device or not. because i still havent found an RUU for virgin mobile one v in the US.

Ok. That's good. You use the same ICS kernel with the same ICS roms. No need to keep reflashing. I wouldn't flash a JB rom using a ICS kernel though.
Use this zip - http://androidfiles.org/uploads/index.php?dir=PrimoC/Kernels/ics
1. Extract the Boot.img from that zip and Fastboot flash boot boot.img in Bootloader
2. Wipe everything. Factory Reset, Dalvik, and System.
3. Flash an ICS based rom, Sense, or CM9.
4. Flash this after rom to get wifi working the zip above or below to fix Wifi.

Just ran the RUU and it did work everything is back to stock. the sprint RUU worked. i ran into a snag installing the Android SDK it wouldnt recognize that i had my Java JDK. even after messing with my registry it still wouldnt work so i just downloaded the x86 jdk and it worked. its unfortunate cuz now i have a jdk in x64 and x86 and its taking up space on my ssd. oh well i hope it doesnt mess with eclipse. i am now going to unlock the bootloader again and re root it and install probably cm9. thank you for all your help i will post again after i attempt to re unlock reroot and rom. thanks again

What were you running before and what were you trying to restore? IF YOU ARE ON 4.3 Touchwiz or were and updated the bootloader, DO NO FLASH ANYTHING IN ODIN unless it does not contain a BOOTLOADER. If you do so, the only thing to flash would be a previous version and with the new bootloader, you cannot downgrade that part as it would BRICK your phone. Flash the rom from recovery all day long.

[Solved] Bootloop after booloader unlock

Hi everyone!
So after unlocking my bootloader following Sony's guide, I restarted the phone but it got stuck in the bootanimation. The good news is that I had flashed CWM, the bad news is that the phone still gets stuck on the boot animation even With the Official CyanogenMod 11...
I really don't know what I must do and I can't find something concrete about my problem.
The bootloader can be unlocked, I've tested (with the code) before attempting anything. I have also the 4.3 update and followed a guide. I did flash the boot.img via fastboot. That's it. And the Xperia M I'm owning is a C1905.
I hope you people can help me, thanks in advance !
This happened to me the other day. Just reflash the 4.3 with flashtool, it will fix the bootloop. After that you can do whatever you want. Here is a link to download the stuff you need:

Cheers
First of all use questions and troubleshooting section... I have to report the thread to be moved.

Second of all you do not have any problem.
The point is that you unlocked the bootloader while you have a rooted modified rom, right?
So after unlocking it do a factory reset, and due to modified system partition you are stuck on boot screen.
The solution is very simple, use flash tool and flash android 4.3 tft.
Then start your phone and make sure it boot up at least one time on stock firmware before starting with cm11 flash procedures.
Good-luck.

Ohh thank you ! I've downloaded the *.tft and flashed it back, after a long flashing process, it worked. What's not cool is that it took too ling to boot and all that time I was very very stressed xD !

Not really, I tried to unlock the bootloader with the stock ROM so I could root it, install CWM and install other ROMs, flasing back the *.tft fixed that, thanks for the advice ! Finally, I'm really sorry for posting in the wrong thread, I was a little bit stressed and struggling for help ^^' ...

Return to Stock from SuperZen

Hi All,
Apologies if I am asking the same question others have in the past I am just wanting to make certain I am following the correct steps.
My Zenfone has an unlocked bootloader, SSJs TWRP and is rooted with the SuperZen R15 firmware.
I am wanting to return to stock recovery and stock unrooted system. Can I just ADB sideload the latest ASUS firmware via TWRPs advanced option or are there other steps I need to take first? Do I need to unroot this firmware first or will the sideload sort all of that out for me?
Hope my question makes sense!
Thanks everyone!
Hi again everyone.
I just tried and the process was successful. For anyone interested I followed the following steps.
1. Unroot via SuperSU
2. Fastboot flash recovery, boot and droidboot images
3. ADB sideload full rom from Asus website using stock recovery
All of these steps have instructions or tutorials on this site and others.
Hope this helps anyone looking for this info.
Where can I get the recovery, boot, and droidboot images?

Same steps for cm12? I just want to get back to stock i'm sick of playing around with a alpha firmware at the moment. I've already wasted a good portion of my day off. Will this get rid of white boot screen
Yeah maybe, you can always try.
I don't think it will remove the white boot screen, you would have to flash the black one before removing TWRP.

Question about bootloader

Hello everyone,
Im going to install a custom rom on an s4 mini of a friend of mine, it's a european s4 mini gt-I9195 and i've seen several videos regarding the whole process, (bootloader unlocking, installing recovery, flashing rom) but i cant figure out how i unlock the bootloader and if its even locked, cause i cant actually find a tutorial about it and the only ones i find are tutorials to unlock bootloader cause their phones have unlocked bootloaders due to american carriers. Can someone help me?
+1
I am interested also in this topic, my i9195 cant boot with LOS 14.1, stock rom flash and run flawlessly and i wondering about locked bootloader

Thanks, but yesterday we tried to install the rom and came to the conclusion we jad to install a program called Odin. I installed it and followed the steps of a youtuber but it wouldnt start at the moment I must've clicked 'start'. Also he had a tar.md5 file but i only had a .tar, i dont know if that makes for the problem but in the description he only included a link from an xda tread which had some attached files links but everytime i clicked on tbem i got to the thread again
