Is there a way to put a FM radio on my GT i9195 lte with cm 10.1.3? I tried spirit FM it seems to work, it gets the signal but there's no audio output. I tried a lot of other samsung fm radio system app putting them in system/app with no results.
Anyway..cm is fantastic great job and go on!!

Can we use spirit fm on oppo devices or not? Planning to migrate from note 2. Good idea?
Why not just use TuneIn or something that's radio over Wifi or your data plan and it has stations from all over the world on there!

An Oppo rep said on the oppo forums that the hardware doesn't support FM radio. You could use one of the many internet radio apps, but FM radio is a no-go.

Hello, noted that the volume of FM radio is much lower than in music player ... Is it possible to somehow improve? If not now, then later, with the root?

Maybe you need to change the firmware. H818P and H815P have FM radio initially, but the volume is very low.

Can someone plz post the FM radio apk so I can try it on my T Mobile US H811 G4? @wolfgart mind giving it a shot?
Thanks,
Sean
For my Sprint version I had to download an app to do it. Only works with something plugged into the headphone jack.

The apk didn't work and I got another apk and both don't work.. The hardware is there but it's disabled in software... The carriers will have to disable the lock in software or a custom ROM will be needed...
Same here in H815 - very low volume on FM Radio
Bump - Anyone knows how to fix this or familiar with alternative over the air FM app (like spirit1 / spirit 2 - I couldn't get them to work, there was not sound!)

How do I write them?
I'm surprised that no one managed to solve this issue until now - by explaining how to edit the relevant file / uploading a new FMRadio APK file.
They managed to solve the FM radio volume issue on v10c update.
Is there any hope for a radio fm mod on mi mix 2, or there is no hardware to support it at all?

Thanks man, i already have internet radio with local stations and it's fine for for wifi use but i don'r have wifi everywhere and mobile data is very expensive at my region. This is my first mobile phone with no radio built in lol. Mayby i ll use for this purpose one of my old 10€ device which of course has this standar hardware. Epic fail from xiaomi.

What our options are at this point
Well, we shouldn't give up yet. It could be possible to enable it via a hack if hardware supports it. SoC supports it, but maybe it depends on the internal wiring of the antenna.... idk....
Another option is telling the modem to use fm bands.
Finally we could settle for sth like an external receiver which we will connect via otg but where would we place the earphones?
I really hope someone more knowledgeable picks this up!
