Framework-resapk status bar icons? - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hey guys. Today I pulled the framework-res and extracted it with ninjamorph. I have been looking in the Res folder and can't find the status bar icons.
In the drawable mdpi and drawable hdpi folders I see icons that are similar but not the right ones. For example I see the c, evdo, and roaming signal icons but not the original ones. The 4g icon also looks different. Am I looking in the wrong folders? Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to get the 4G/LTE icons for the LT28at? They're in the SystemUI - I'm not sure if framework related because I can't get the 4G icons to appear on my modded SystemUI. I'm still looking - there is a jar file (techdata?) in the framework folder maybe had something to do with that ... maybe someone could help?
Edit: I meant the SystemUI modded seem only work with LT28's framework - other LT28h or LT28i doesn't do anything.

Yeah I'm trying to change all the icons in status bar to true ics. I love the color. I'm also doing the dialer true ics. Found the dialer but none of the status bar icons.

I see a techdatamanager.jar, lets see whats in it XD
Edit: Nothing useful it has MANIFEST.MF not sure what that is so not gonna touch it.

Another question. What folders should i be editing?
MDPI, HDPI or XHDPI
Both?
I am guessing it is XHDPI because when i run a Device Screen and Resolution app i get:
720 x 1280
Scale = 2
PPI = 320
and according to this post: http://blog.blundell-apps.com/list-of-android-devices-with-pixel-density-buckets/
XHDPI is around 320 DPI

I am trying to edit the icons in my status bar. instead of the white 4g symbol, white service bars, green battery, and white alarm clock i am trying to change them to an ICS blue color. But i cant find the icons to edit with photoshop.
The dialer keyboard im changing from white to ICS blue also. I have found those icons, located in the framework-res.apk\res\drawable-xhdpi folder. But there are also the same icons for the dialer in the drawable-mdpi and drawable-hdpi. so im just wondering which ones i need to edit.
Our phone is XHDPI so it must be the drawable-xhdpi folder i need to be editing in.

Ah, so color change for the icons - that's very easy.
Between SystemUI in System/app and framework-res in System/framework, you will find all the icons. First looks/edits icons in the drawable-xhdpi, if not there then drawable-hdpi. Ignore duplicate icons in drawable-hdpi. You're right the system will pull icons in xhdpi first, only if the icons not available in high resolution then in hdpi.
BTW: Jar file contained linux scripts in classes.dex.

[Q] Statusbar Background modding

How do i theme the statusbar correctly in JPM? The Background of the dropdown menu stays always the same. Why is that?

There are several files in framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk you have to edit.
Just take a look at all the statusbar* and status_bar* files...
I already did this but the statusbar wont change.

Take a screenshot and mark the things you would like to change.
Give me a second. Your tip helped. I forgot to mod the twframework. Now some things changed. Danke dir.
@scheichuwe: Would you mind helping me to make my Dropdown-Menu black?
Just download other themes that have certain elements that you like and pull the pngs from them and put in your framework or twframework which ever it is your modding.

Metamorphing question!!

Hey all,
I have a quick question, I am going to metamorph a few icons in the notifications bar, and I was just wondering which folders to replace the icons in.... i heard that drawable_hdpi was the main icon pack for our phones, but I was just wondering if someone could confirm that for me!!
Thanks!!!
You probably meant ninjamorph. More than likely its in /system/app and the taskbar is systemui.apk and battery icons, windows etc is in framework-res.apk. Images are in drawable-hdpi

Doesn't metamorph do the same as ninjamorpoh? Though ninjamorph is easier to use?

metamorph is another program like ninja morph:
to the OP: most of the notification icons are in framework-res.apk and systemui.apk and you are correct they are in the drawable-hdpi folder

Date and clock are not image based so you won't find them. Signal bars should be in systemui.

i havent themed ICS yet, but if they are in the same place as gingerbread this thread might help --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831715
that was from this time last year when a few of us were figuring out where everything was in gingerbread
I may as well help you out as I've themed the whole of ICS and know it pretty much inside out...
The clock and the date in the dropdown are linked to one color in an XML. If you decompile your framework-res.apk go to res\values\colors.xml. change the following "Holo_Blue_Light" to whatever color you want, this will change the clock and the date color. The blue line you are referring to is in the systemUI, in the drawable-xhdpi folder. The image is named "Statusbar_hr.9.png" as its a .9.png I'd be careful editing it.
I hope this helps.

These icons are graphics, you can't change their color in XML. Decompile SystemUI.apk and look at /res folder.

JB 4.2.1 Question about theming Contacts.apk

Hi there.
I'm trying to theme my Contacts.apk because I don't like the default cyan bar at the top. I wanted to apply the same dark gray color, just like in the Mms.apk. I previously was able to do this for my Contacts.apk in JB 4.1.2.
However, when I pushed the Contacts.apk from 4.1.2 to 4.2.1, the dialer would vibrate twice when I press a button (i.e. a number on the dial pad). So, I attempted to recreate the same dark gray color at the top of the bar for the Contacts.apk in 4.2.1.
BUT, the cyan color appears on the selected tab (see attached image). The other parts of the bar are the dark gray color. I decompiled and changed the png files in the drawable xhdpi folder, but is there an xml value that I'm supposed to edit? I didn't edit any xml values when I previously, and successfully, themed my Contact.apk for 4.1.2.
Any advice would help. Thanks everyone
That's going to be an XML in /res/drawable/tab_selected.xml
In currently uses the people holo theme color from res/values/colors.xml
You can also change it to a hex color value using #ffrrggbb
