[Q] SD Card Mounting Not Showing Pics... - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello,
I recently recovered some photos from my external SD card some stuff accidently deleted and I used a recovery tool to get them back, and put them back into the external SD Card, but whenever I put the card in the phone, and go into gallery none of the pictures show up, they show up on the computer just fine. When I plug the USB into the phone, and go into the SD Card drive, it doesn't show my pictures either, it only seems to show it when I put it in a separate microSD card adapter. I tried multiple reboots on phone, and still no luck. What could be the issue here? Thanks.

Damaged SD Card

I managed to get CyanogenMod 7 RC2 up and running. I noticed that I had a lot of junk on my SD card so I thought that I could back it up and then wipe it because most/all of the useful stuff was on the internal memory of the DHD. But, for some reason, my phone is telling me that my SD card is damaged.
I don't think that there is anything wrong with the SD card because I just did a copy/paste thing to back it up. Also, I've put in another SD card and it also says that it's damaged. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Run fix_permissions and reboot

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think I can do that. I can't put that on my SD card because there if I try to connect it with the computer, I can't mount the SD card or turn on the usb sharing thing. I'll be able to reformat the SD card soon because I'm borrowing a friend's micro sd card to sd card converter.
I tried Fix Permissions by going into recovery and advanced options, but that didn't work =/
Also, I remember now that I uninstalled "Goldcard Helper" because it said it was downloaded to my SD card so I thought that I could uninstall it and be able to clean up my SD card completely. Maybe that had some effect on this?
Got my friend's converter so now I can plug the micro SD directly into my computer. Oddly enough, it said I had to format it before I could use it which is essentially what my phone was telling me to do too.
I'll wipe it then see if it works
Perfect! I think it is working completely now! One last question of what I should do now that it's working. Can I plug it in, restore a few pictures I had, and just let Android take over from there? It's completely blank on the SD card so will Android know what to do with it?

[Q 4.21.11] Blank SD Card

So it's possible I might just be dumb and screwed up, but I think I might have reformatted something that I didn't mean to reformat.
I wanted to wipe my SD card because I found that there were random pics appearing in my gallery of people I've never seen before in my life (got the phone second hand but popped the SD card in that I used with my old Fascinate). Opening up My Computer, there were two different removable discs that were the SD card inside my phone and what I now presume to be internal storage. I backed up everything I wanted and wiped both the SD card and the other storage device via my laptop.
Here is the problem. Whenever I boot the phone up, there is a notification that says my SD card is either blank or not in a compatible format... It asks if I want to format it, I click OK, and everything seems fine... Until I have to reboot the phone and it does the same thing all over again. This is getting to be an annoyance because I don't want to keep deleting everything on my SD card whenever I reboot my phone.
Can anybody help me fix this?
Okay I definitely did something to the internal storage. I tried taking my SD card out and rebooting it and I am still getting the blank SD card notification. It won't let me format it. What do I do?
Try connecting the sdcard to your computer through a usb adapter, or any alternative to using the phone's USB-mount. Format it with FAT32. Put it back in your phone and see if it works. If not, you might have a corrupt sdcard. Try a different one if available.
What directory were the pictures appearing in? It's possible they were cached from the browser or some social app.

Help with pics on phone...!!!!

So I have an Incredible that I recently rooted and then I got the phone replaced. I put the SD card in the new phone and all of my pics are not there. When I put the SD card back in the old phone, they are there.
When I plug the phone in it does not give me the two physical drives, just the ability to mount the SD card.
Any help you can provide to get these images off the phone would be GREAT!!!!!
Take all the content off the sd card and put it on your computer. Format your sd card to fat32 then place everything back onto your sd card.

SD Card suddenly is showing Blank

Guys, I need a help. my HTC One X's SD Card suddenly is showing Blank.
I was copying few music tracks from SD card to my PC connecting with data cable and suddenly the SD card showed blank. I have restarted the phone and still nothing.
Any idea how to recover those stuff from the SD card?
cheers
Plug it into a computer and grab some recovery software. Most of that stuff is crap/spyware/trojan though, so be careful.
You'd probably be better off with Linux than Windows.

sd card not recognized

for some reason yesterday my phone won't recognize the sd card. i know many people will as if i've reformatted the card. the answer is no. earlier in the day i was able to access the photos i had stored on the sd card and everything was fine. lastnight i was deleting some pictures on the internal memory and the folder that have my external memory pics had a "broken" image icon. i pulled the battery and sd, reinserted and none of the sd pics were available. i went into the menu and the phone says to mount sd/insert card (sd card is already inserted). i inserted the sd into an adapter and connected to my pc and the pc won't recognize the sd. i even inserted a different sd into my phone and the phone still didn't recognize. i haven't dropped my phone or exposed it to any moisture. the phone suddenly won't mount the card. i'm thinking the sd tray in the phone is glitched but it's so sudden considering i take really good care of the phone. the phone wasn't plugged in when this happened. any ideas on a resolution? thank you in advance.
