[Q] I want to use EVO in india Is there any way?

Hi all
I want to use EVO in india Is there any way to get it unlocked for any CDMA service provider in India. If yes i will ask my friend to bring the one for me. not sure when HTC is planning to launch, there are rumors but no confirmation.

so im planning to sell my htc desire and buy a nexus s instead.
im living in germany and i guess i would have to order the nexus s from an american shop. would there be any problem with the network? or is that all good?
another question:
im selling the htc desire on ebay. is it simlocked? or netlocked?
can i just sell it after flashing an original ruu?

those ruus are only exe files though. how can you apply them to your phone??

You open the .exe installsheild on your PC and plug the phone in and run the wizard, and if you buy a US nexus s and try to used it on Vodafone or even T-Mobile EU or Orange or O2 or any other EU network it WILL ONLY GET EDGE!, but calls WILL WORK So beware of that, also, you don't need to flash the RUU, infact, some people pay MORE for a rooted phone, so they don't have to do it them self.

one more question why is there only edge with the nexus s in germany?

If you get the GSM Nexus S from the UK then it should work fine. If you get it from the US then it won't as they use different bands than Europe

Hello,
a friend of mine (US citizen), is offering to buy me a refurbished Desire in US. Problem is that it is labeled "Smarphone - For US CELLULAR service only." It has Android 2.1, that's all I know about.
Is it possible to install a German ROM on it and is it than also working with German provider Telekom?
Are there different Desire versions on the market? All I know for now is Desire and Desire HD, but both are Multi Language.

I have an HTC ONE XL, its Australian on Telstra but not network locked.
Its not listed here, but I'm told its an X but with LTE hence the L
Ive rooted a wildfire s before n was thinking of doing this phone, tossing up between root this or buy a newer phone.
My question is, if I follow the procedures for an X, as in here on this forum, if I root, will I lose my LTE capability?
Anyone recommend any great ROMS?

Hello, this post is because i need help, im live in Mexico City, i have a Samsung Galaxy S4 but i will buy this phone now, HTC ONE M8, but in my country sell the HTC ONE M8 but is T-Mobile, i think is another version, and i want this version to have more roms and mods.
How to know the phone version? to choose this one, i think this is the international version, or not?
