Yep, it's a 4.2 base. I got the source from google's repos, added our device tree and necessary files and some other crap that needed to get done, and BAM. It's compiling great. I had a couple errors along the way, but nothing that chris's github couldn't fix.

I just came onto the Nitro at the end of Sept, but the community for the phone seems VERY small compared to others I've been a part of. I think people are wanting some more JB love, tbh. Personally, I've had better luck w/ ICS ROMs than I have JB ones: smoother and more responsive in my experience. The HO!NO! CM9 Full Throttle is my daily driver, but I try out all (new) ROMs. /shrug
Nice work brotha! Team Fah-Q! is starting to dominate everything! lol

We are a small community. It also seems like there are very few of us that use PA as most use CM10. I'm going to try your PA for sure. I just haven't had a chance to mess with it all because I've got to move things around or get another microSD. It is pretty much full.

Thanks for putting work into bringing the ICS version to our phones.
The community is insanely small in comparison to most other phones. It's sad, this device has plenty of potential too.
Using this PA now. One thing I don't see is LTE toggle. I really miss that.
Also I'm a bit confused by the UI options. I'm used to the other PA allowing me to change dpi settings, but only see "tablet" or "phone" UI options. Am I missing it and its actually there?

Xylon. A minimal ROM that meant to be experimental. Speeds, Battery, Fun, Test-this, test-here, a best combo ROM you can get kang'ed from FNV, CM, AOKP, TeamBAKED and PA. (Not to forget Linaro.) A ROM designed to be smooth and target to be a user-friendly style to you. Well, we're still in WIP state. (Not the ROM.) The actual fun will begin somewhere.
P.S.S **** off fanboys. We're doing this for fun.

What does this mean? The English and sentence structure is so poor that I cannot understand what you're attempting to convey. Please revise for clarity's sake. Not being critical, it's just that I think you want the reader to understand what you're attempting to communicate, right?

just a quick question.
i know it says initial release, but does this mean everything that was in here before ( on older build) are still included?

Really liking this. I recommend updating the kernel though. AK and fancy both run noticeably better for me.

* Lock Screen Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options

Solid ROM. Everything was going fine until I tried removing system apps. For some reason it soft bricked the phone on a reboot. This is a very nice ROM though and I look forward to anymore updates.

Just now getting to test; nice and snappy so far; only thing that I'm noticing though is that TiBu (and a few other apps) don't really like the SU binary that's included. Outside of that, :good:
That's odd. Maybe bc we use the open sourced superuser and not supersu

I updated the su binary and it's working nicely now. I'm sure there was an easier way to do it than I did, and I'm not sure which step exactly updated it because both Superuser and SuperSU from the play store told me it failed to update the binary, but upon reboot I no longer got those errors, all my apps that were previously throwing a fit were behaving, and both apps were saying I had a different su binary installed than I previously had. Either way, I'm not complaining, it works, and it works well.

Nevermind found it!!
Multiwindow is not present. You have to cherrypick commits or something like that when you build it. Thanks for the ROM
did you try holding down the app in the app switcher menu and selecting add to split view
I don't.see a download link

Download link is in the upper left corner of title bar,
I've got an omni rom version on my N7....so far pretty stable. But multi window on my 7 inch screen isn't very useful....too small. How is it on this even smaller screen?
A couple roms have it now....and not seeing many posts about multi window.....considering all the posts in the past of people wanting it.
Just curious.

Yeah of course. I read about it in the OmniROM forum. No option present. If the person who built this ROM didn't specifically make changes when building to add it then it won't be present. Hopefully a future build will have it.

There's a button on your phone at the far left bottom side which opens a certain functions/options catalog on which you would find, if touched, a text that reads "web view".
I wonder what, under this sun, would that mean?

He's got the link.
Anyway they should update the XDA app with that DEV db integration.
What a strange thread.
