Go to Settings > About Phone
and tap on "Build Number" about 7 times i think, or until it says "You are now a Developer"

Not everyone uses it, that's why it's hidden by default.

Put the image file on your SDcard, have LauncherPro as your Home Alternative, and go to Preferences > Appearance > Dock Background > Custom, and then select the image.
Back story - was trying to share a video with my friend over wifi direct instead of bluetooth for a change and noticed the is no settings for it. he has the HTC one X and the is a settings menu for him but non for us.
Am on AOKP if that helps but am surprised as I wasn't able to search for his device and the traditional wifi settings didn't have any options.
What do you think? And is there and app or a way to do it.

We're all waiting for this matter to be revealed and addressed (look here). Funny thou, the manufacturer provided the functionality but not the software to use it!?
I really got surprised with this
Hi experts,
I have got a problem on my Ion.
It was connected to my Laptop and I was using My Mobiler and suddenly I observe that the screen is displaying the "touch coordinates" on top over the status bar and the id displaying the touch path. I have attached the screen shot of the same.

Can any one provide solution as to what can be done to solve this issue?
As troubleshooting I did reboot it couple of times.
Just go Settings-> Developer settings and turn it off.

Hey gang...
Sadly I am leaving the E4GT forums for the Nexus 5...
I would like to delete all files from my phone...how does one do that?
I will keep searching in the meantime....

Yep, that'll get you to fresh out of the box status (software wise)

You mean how it pops up and says android kit Kat on the red screen? Different version of android have been doing that for years. Lol.

Can't post the photo cause I'm new but
I think you tap the screen, or hold and see what comes next. It's interactive too

Yeah, tap and hold on the first post screen that pops up on your phone and it'll load up all the previous Android OS icons and they'll float and swap, more so when when you tap them.
