Notification in Android 4.1 Update Asia - HTC One X

Hi, yesterday I received the JB update for CID_044
But when I try to expand the notification area as one of the new JB feature, it wasn't there. I tried pinching and draging 2 fingers down but no result.
Can anyone show me how to do it? Thanks

I Cant download or install from market, all of a sudden(Feb 1 9.20p EST)..please help

I cant download or install anything from the market. This just started happening within the hour.
It acts like it begins the download, then nothing.
this is extremely frustrating. anyone have anything on it?? how to fix, happening to you?

force close then clear cache/data of the Market from settings>applications>manage applications
It's happening here too! No idea why! Possible outage or update?

If it's happening to multiple people then it may be something wrong with the market right now, so you may not have to do the route I suggested

When I start having that problem I have to turn off my wifi or 4g and go back to 3g. If it happens on 3g I have to reboot my phone so it will work.
having the same problem is there an apk. file of App brain out there?
+1 Market downloads not working for me either.

[Q] Animations Problem in HTC One V

Help! I completely turned off the Animations in the Developer Options (window animation scale and transition animation scale) and now I can't turn them on!! When I touch on the window animation scale and transition animation scale, Nothing happens!! When I go to Display and tap the Animation option, the Animation option in the Developers Options gets turned off and vice versa. I did everything but nothing happens to the Window Animation Scale and Transition Animation Scale... They're always showing 'Animation Off'... What should I do?

Force close the application "Developer" and then try again!
If not, restart the phone and see if then it will turn on

I restarted my phone but it didn't help! By the way how to close 'developer'? I don't see that app!

you can use the search button. look at your screenshot. it is in the upper right corner of that screen. and search for Development or Developer or Develop.

NO I can't find it. There's nothing like that.
In that case, I don't know. what rom are you using? I don't yet have the One V to test it, maybe the issue is a rom issue - if it is a custom rom.

I don't know what to say. You can try it. It will not do any harm to your phone (except deleting installed apps - contacts - mails etc.).
Any way to backup "EVERYTHING"?

MyBackup will backup apps...
Sms backup and restore for sms...
Contacts as vcf or just MyBackup...

Why do you need to back up your contacts? You don't have them synced into your google account?! For apps I strongly suggest Titanium Backup!
I did a factory data reset... And now everything is fine...

About to root, have Google Wallet question

I remember reading somewhere that you need to clear the Google Wallet app data before flashing roms and such. Is that still the case? If I root using QBKing's video, do I need to clear that data first?

I did the same thing. Still working for me as well.
I didn't reset before I rooted and flashed roms and it still works. There is a rather nasty side effect though. I'm running out of money.

On a sie note i think that reset stuff was debunked. Especially with wallet stuff being stored on a cloud now rather than there phone

Yes it says that at the top if your rooted but it still works.

I think this message is just to alert you that if you have a problem google won't provide support due to you being root.

[Q] *#06# Not returning anything

I have got a wired problem. Somehow if i type *#06# on my Galaxy Note 2 dialer, its not responding to it. as a matter of fact, i can't run any sort code like *#0000#. My phone works fine otherwise . i mean i can see the imei from the phone status page

You do need the asterisk, its actually correct the way he has typed it. Try reboot phone and try again

I have already tried that. In fact its not just the imei , i cant enter any of the dilaer codes.
Your probably not using touchwiz rom thats why its not working AFAIK..

i found the solution. there is a service called factory mode. i had frozen that app. after defrosting it. things started working as normal.
