steps of wipe battery states using recovery work - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

I want to wipe battery states to calibrate it with the new paranoid android rom
what is the steps .?

I quoted it from another thread, give thank for him
mosta_9741 said:
1- make sure u have cwm recovery
2- drain ur battery completely until ur phone dies then remove the battery and leave it for about an hour then try switching it on to make sure its fully drained or not
3- if the phone is turned on and thr is still sm battery then redo step 2
4- wn ur phone doesn't wanna start up cuz the battery is fully drained then blug it to the charger and DON'T SWITCH IT ON just leave it till it comletely charges ur battery to 100% and leave it plugged in for additional 30 or 40 mins
5- ur phone is still PLUGGED TO THE CHARGER, start CWM recovery and navigate to "wipe battery status" in the "advanced options" menu
6- reboot ur phone, ur phone is still PLUGGED TO THE CHARGER and switched on now, leave it till its 100% and additional 15 mins
7- u can UNPLUG IT now
hope it helps you cuz i know wt it feels to have an easily drained and crazy battery

just a little tip for u if u ever consider buying a new battery in the future DON'T BUY IT FROM EGYPT (its hard to find the original and will be too expensive and most of the high copies are not as good as they seem to be), its better to buy an extended battery over the internet

battery caliberation

hello people , i need an advice on an issue, my phone has been shutting down on 10% , i've tried several caliberation methods found on xda , but none succeeded to solve my problem, my battery status is "good" so it's not a "faulty battery issue" . so if anyone has a usefull link, or can recommend a working method i'd be grateful
not sure there is a genuine method theres loads of "wives tales" on the web but i think its a case of turning apps off and having a power control widget.
some of the calibration methods are rumored to cook the battery to
Some roms shut down at 10%, some earlier, some later. Just stick with it.

It's by design. HTC phoned shut down like this to protect the battery from breaking. Truly going to 0% will ruin a Li on battery and render it useless. All desires do this out of the box.
There is one method that fakes it so that when it is really at 10-15%, it fakes it to show 1% but I forget what it is.
It's all pointless really

I also had this issue last night. Phone powered down with my batt at 10%. Does not bother me now after reading matdroid and rootsu's post and understanding that it will save my batt from breaking.
But I think adjusting it from previous 10% to maybe 5% which i think is still safe would be great. Only question is how
thanks guys

i remember on froyo and some GB roms i could go beyond 10% , i also think 5% would be the best option, pretty sure it can be done in a way or another

Battery at 1% and keeps restarting

I just made a full wipe and flashed a stock ftf file and when it boots up, it says the battery is at 1% and reboots. it does this many time. Is this a hardware issue?
Have you tried plugging in the charger and leaving it charge for 10 minutes and then see if the issue persists?

I don't know if that article is a fact or not but my battery percentage was all over the place until I cleared the battery stats. Now it's perfect so I can't help but to wonder if it's a myth or not.
It was definitely a NOT in my case and many other people on this forum.
Not trying to start an argument BTW, just pointing out how my problem got resolved

Don't want an argument either but as the article was written by the lady responsible for the coding of this particular module of the android os I think it fair to say it's true....
Heisenberg and his principle of indeterminacy is probably to blame here for the effect that some have observed..... Wiping battery stats has at the same moment in time and space coincided with some other change taking place.....

Why 'Android System' singly drains my battery so extremely fast?

Hi guys
I have HTC One M8. Android System drains my battery in an unbelievable way. I decide to know the reason. So, I did a reset factory and charged it 100% and then I powered it on and only after 6 min while the screen all of the time was off, the battery got 98%. In the following, I turned off the screen again and incredibly after 21 min without any usage the battery got 94%.
I really don't use the phone and the battery drains such this. Just guess what happen if I turn on screen and use it?!!! I really confused. I took 2 shot. Pls check them out. Android System Singly uses up to 90% of the whole usage.
(When I charge my father's G3 the battery is 100% after 5 min using wifi! Still no 99%!)

you should measure the battery life after one day or more from flashing to make sure it's the right measurement after the cash cycle is done

No. I'm on stock clean ROM
All begins to happen from last week.
I felt the battery drains faster than ever.
It was being more and more.
Yesterday, I do a reset factory to get rid of the problem.
But as I explained already I have it yet.
It seems I face with a faulty battery, doesn't it?
Is there any other related reason?
I forgot to add that the phone become very hot. Even in a very essential/primitive/normal usage. In an unprecedentedly way ...

Currently, I'm on a custom ROM; I'm just trying another.
I can return to stock and take some shot, if you think it helps.
Next plan is installing a CyanogenMod ROM.
If It occurred again I buy a new battery instantly.

first you post screenshots from a custom rom then when i ask about the cache cycle you said you were completely stock then you said you are on custom rom and tried to recalibrate the battery with an app (witch i believe it do nothing ) and probably you didn't read the threads i linked and didn't gave us any useful info to understand the situation so we can help
the last thing before buying a new battery run the appropriate RUU for your device and see how it's going

I have some good reasons why I said you I'm on stock when you ask me for the first time. Yeah! I remember!
I tested both before posting on XDA and the result was same. Mr.Ismael I certainly sure if I said I'm on CUSTOM you picked on CUSTOM ROMs and blamed it.
For this reason, I said I'm on stock in order to skip that MISTAKE IDEA that the custom ROM causes the problem
Just because getting rid of this mistake. No other reason.

OneUI2.0 battery stats not useful at all

Hi,
While we got used to see battery stats from last (nearly) full charge, with OneUI 2.0 the battery stats are taken from 00h00 of the day... for example if you use your phone from 00h00 to 01h00 then leave it charge overnight then you'll start your day with 100% battery with already 1h SOT counted !
The only way to figure out the real SOT is to sum the stats of each area after full charge ...
If this is intentional from samsung then it is in no way useful at all.

Let's hope a "real" beta member can report this as a bug and let's they don't answer "it's a feature not a bug' !!!
Don't have the new version yet on my Note 10+ but I agree that this is pretty dumb if it is actually implemented as you state. What use is looking at battery life over a 24 hour period that spans multiple charges?

Or they can simply add a button to switch between stats of the whole day and from last full charge
If you click on the graphil on a day that you charged the phone it will allow you to view screen on time for different time frames on that day.

Yea I freaking hate this! It's like Samsung did this on purpose to keep people from knowing the actual screen on time u know. Anyways, I just installed Accu Battery and it gives me the SOT now from a full charge.
Sincerely, what's the use of such battery stats ?
Look how many times I charged the phone to 100% but the SOT never got reset which results in a global 5h13 !
It even counts the screen usage while using the phone plugged and fully charged
