[Q] Any way to get DSPManager back? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

How do I get DSPManager back? I am currently on LI5 and have tried to install the Acid Audio which gave me a near disaster resulting in a lock after the Samsung screen.
Thanks

Drop the apk in your system/app and the libs in system/lib. Or just restore with titanium backup.
I can upload a tb backup file for it if you need it.

Where would I find the libs?
Would your TiBU include only the DSP section?

deodexed files deleted, can i use odexed?

So i put in a stock froyo rom that was deodexed. I originally had a rooted froyou that i pulled tons of .apk's and odex's out of /system/app and stored on my sdcard. When I put in my deodexed rom, i went in to /system/app and deleted all the .apk's that i had backed up from my other rom. It then dawned on me that maybe these were different than the ones i backed up since they didnt have odex files. Am i messed up? Will I be able to use my backed up files or do i need to reinstall to get the deodexed files?
Ya, I have a similar question and no one seems to know the answer. I want to reinstall some apps that have an apk and odex.

Restore form NANDROID backup will solve your problem
Restore form NANDROID backup will solve your problem, it backups everything.
You can also try CALIBAN666 Gallery3D.apk, it should work.
If the apk does not work for you and you do a Titanium Backup of Galley app from restored rom, then flash your rom and restore the gallery from Titanuim Backup .
Reply how did you resolve your issue.
Backup will not work everytime sometimes it causes bootloops or soft bricks. I suggest you to see Flash DeodexedvStock ROM CWM Flashable with 14 toggles status bar on http://galaxyydroid.wordpress.com/2012/06/16/stock-rom-cwm-flashable-with-14-toggles-status-bar/ It's Stock ROM with some additional features like pre-rooted, deodexed, 14 toggles status bar!
OR
to get deodexed stock gallary
Download above Gallary3D.apk to SD Card app and install Root Browser free from Play Store/Market and allow SU access then goto sdcard> select Gallary3D.apk and copy it now paste it to /system/app and then reboot your device.

Titanium backup is your friend.
You can back up all installed apps onto your sd card and then restore them onto the note ii.
Some apps may not work unless they are installed 'normally', but for 95% of them, it'll be find.
If you find one acting weird, uninstall it and reinstall it.

i know that but, actually i was trying to avoid root on my note 2, scared
just install androzip free and use its app manager menu, saves all apps as apk to be copied and installed else where...
what i do is actually use titanium backup to back all apps and their data and then have the apk for titanium.
Install TB then use it to install everything else in one batch operation.

Backup problem

i have switched from romaur v3 to amami, done a backup with "backup and restore" app in romaur v3,and now i cant find that app working for amami (kitkat 4.4.4),and dont know how to restore that backup >.<
any help please?
When you say "amami" does this mean you flashed a CyanogenMod nightly to your phone? CyanogenMod is AOSP: all stock Google / open-source software (no proprietary software is ever included). The Backup & Restore app belongs to Sony, I believe.
I wonder if you could try to open a ROM (that is based on 4.4.4, and has this backup & restore app included), take the APK file (and ODEX file if applicable) from /system/app, and copy it over into the rom that you currently have (and dont forget to set the correct permissions on the file(s) once they're copied).
I am currently running 4.4.4 RU stock rom, rooted. I can see the the files for Backup & Restore are /system/app/Backup-wizard.apk and /system/app/Backup-wizard.odex
I hope this helps you.
Yea this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...opment/jul-01-aosb-project-run-limit-t2801711
The only way is to format this phone and reinstall another version, then reinstall this. Any way you can share your files?
P.s. i have already tryed slot of backup wizard apk, bit everyone crashed or didnt installed at all

Can you clarify what you are saying above? slot? And are you sure the app was from 4.4.4? (I'm only assuming at this point that the app from a 4.4.4 system is the best option). There is also the possibility that the Backup & Restore app depends on other system items or modules in order to operate properly. (Sorry, I wish I had more expertise.)
If you want a copy of my Backup & Restore (apk and odex) from my 4.4.4 system, I will send. Just PM me your email address and I'll send a Dropbox link.
