[THEME][for DXLM3]ICS Theme + 14 toggles + Extended Power Menu

This is the ICS theme with 14 toggles and extended power menu for the latest DXLM3 firmware.
Only for DEODEXED ROM.
Download the attachment and place it into ur sdcard. Flash via CWM.
Remember to backup ur systemUI and framework-res.apk 1st.
I have tested it on my SGW. It works perfectly. Enjoy~

Hi, i think the difference between a Odexed and Deodexed ROMs is that the Odexed ROMs you cannot use themes our customize your ROM, but have a Optimized Dex, and the Deodexed ROMs you can customize the ROM as use themes, etc but doesn't have a Optimized Dex.
I think it have more differences, if someone could add more differences...

Is there any link ? ? ?

Hi, for you have a deodexed rom you have to flash a customized rom, search in "Galaxy W I8150 Android Development" section here in xda developers, you have there several different roms.

First of all, do you have a Clockworkmod recovery?
If not you need to have it for flashing mods, themes our roms...

For official Stock ROM, in /system/app and /system/framework, the apps consists of two parts: .apk and .odex. .odex helps to increase the loading speed of apps as part of the app is stored in .odex file and it will be preloaded in memory. Technically, original ROM with odex files will be faster than deodexed ROM.
Besides, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
This is why applying theme in odex ROM is not very possible.
If u want to deodex ur ROM, u can try xultimate. Search it in our forum.

Extended Power Menu

Do you no how I could only install the "Extended Power Menu" in the stock rom?
I thought about flashing a custom rom which already has it, but I really like the stock one I'm using and it would be awesome if we could have the "Extended Power Menu" since I'm always running nandroid backups...

LOL, since stock rom has not been deodexed, it is difficult to edit framework-res.apk and framework-res.dex. It is beyond my knowledge at this moment.

It is due to the java coding for 14 toggles. Its creator lidroid hasn't fixed it yet. I will update it once it fixed.

[MOD][XXLF6] CRT-OFF Animation

Credit to sphinx02's tutorial :good:
Copy and overwrite the service.jar file in system/framework
OR flash the CWM zip file
Tested on Omega v6 which is a DEODEX rom, not tested on ODEX
Some glitches:
Doing this on the lockscreen makes it flash the lockscreen after the animation, small glitch but it is one nonetheless

How did you remake it without it hotbooting every 10-15 apps?
I tried remaking it and that's what happened. No problems on the other .jar files I modded.

tested on omega v6+siyah1.2
it looks nice , the bug which appears sporadically isn't very disturbing, but anyway hopening for a fix

I think CM9 rom has the CRT Animation.

is there the bug too? i'm using omega, not an aokp build.

But can't off directly when the screen off itself..
flicker once before the screen off...
Works very good if im press power button manually.

Ok, I went through all 30-something pages in the other XDA thread posted in the OP & I'm confused. So does the 4.2.2 Odex N4 file work with STOCK ROM 4.2.2 on Nexus 4? Just looking for the multi-reboot option.

i have a stock 4.3 android rom. Can i install it, do i get a bootloop ? Should i download the odexed or deodexed file ?

i tried the keyboard only ... now about the rest of apps you may try to copy them to system/apps , and then backup and delete the old apps , set the permissions and the owner , and than reboot your phone. See than if it works only on deodexed roms or not and report . Thank you.

No it doesn't work, as expected in stock odexed Rom. It misses corresponding odex file.

No need for correspinding odex file, bcs all this app from G2 is deodexed

Life stream is saying application nt installed in my unrooted G 975 international version. File manager is grt. Nice UI thanks fr the apps.

Im rooted and unlocked on stock rom but i was unable to flash keyboard.
After the flash i get "lg keyboard has stopped unexpectedly" all the time and now i can use only 3rd party keyboards,no stock.
Is there anything i can do to fix this?

basicaly you need to go into apps and delete keyboard data and cache. and than reboot. it must work , it's working for me.
i use the 10d version.

I did that and its not working again.
I have in my system/app folder LGEIME.apk and LGEIMEbin.apk,im not sure it has to be 2 keyboard apk's in there.
What do you have in your system/app folder.
Maybe i need to delete one of them.

can't with that . unfortunately. be sure that you don't have two music apk's and you deleted data and cache of music.apk .

[Port] Leaked 4.3 Note2 keyboard for S3

Hi guys, I have been having problem using ported keyboard of S4 and Note3 for my S3 so I decided to port myself from the leaked Note2 4.3.
This should work for everyone both stock and custom roms.
#1 rule before flashing "Be sure to Backup your ROM first"

I guessing no, i have tried past sammy keyboards push to cm's none works.
But you are to try though, just be sure to do nandroid backup.
It's always good to experiment, you may learn something..

The "update - script" is not good.
The strings:
"ui_print("Backing up old camera..");"
And:
" ui_print(" TIPS : in case you want to revert back to your ");
ui_print("old camera just flash Restore.zip");
Should say "keyboard" in staid "camera".

Its a good lesson for you to do always a NANDROID BEFORE FLASHING.
And read the thread's next time carefully as it says "4.3" and your on 4.1.2.
Search in "theme and apps" for a flashabbel 4.1.2 keyboard.
There's plenty of them around.

You could delete the files, find a root explorer of your choice.
Go to /system/app
delete "ResourceManager.apk" and "SamsungIME.apk"
rename "SamsungIME.apk.bak" to "SamsungIME.apk"
rename "SamsungIME.odex.bak" to "SamsungIME.odex"
set the permissions to "644"

As always before flashing anything we should always do nandroid backup first.

Just delete all said file, it is intended for deodex rom so *.odex will not work with it.

Works Perfectly on XXUGMK6 NeatROM v6.1 Aroma (4.3).

i flashed the zip you put up but it doesn't look like the one you have on the screenshot. i'm missing the punctuations above the letters and long pressing doesn't do anything. is there a setting i need to get to to enable those?
