I've got it works with ns4g modem just follow xboxfanj guide on general thread about this rom

You may need to delete nfc.apk and other nfc and wallet related apks and libs and permissions files in etc/permissions. Not sure about phone.apk. maybe copy from cm.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
So don't copy the phone.apk and settings from the ns4g just stick with cm10 ones, right
Sent from my SCH-I110 using xda app-developers app
So just leave the cm10 phone and settings In the base and trash all nfc right

You should be able to. I don't believe much changed, unlike 4.0.3 vs 4.0.4.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
Tried both and same thing with the android phone even with cm10 phone but pulling the nfc out did work
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda app-developers app
I was able to get it to boot but I am a noob so I don't know much about the details around things just kinda follow the post about ports
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda app-developers app
The baked caught my eye when I was looking for a rom to put on my brothers fassy other than the stock asop like gummy and the others that is for the fassy
Do you have signal? Perhaps, it is searching for some files which aren't there, like EpicRIL.
No service on phone right now.[wife won't let me try it on hers she like cm9.1] running wifi had to put sprint on hold right now but with normal cm10 still works fine. Only when I flash the port I made I get the phone thing... this is my first attempt so I think I'm missing something I used cm10 stable and baked build 6 from ns4g and tried the fassy one also.

Her phone I flashed over to Cricket mine I have not activated yet. But i still play with it i tried both modems fc09 and the ns4g modem if it would get rid of the message(process com.android.phone has stopped) it boots but i think im missing something i can send you the file if you want i dont have a host site. So i would have to email. I followed the port guides from here on xda(great help from this site Great DEV).I have done one from the miui fassy to the epic with no fail just to see if i could do it. But i think the 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 might be the problem or I'm missing something
i have ported black beans and it"s boots

i can't use HW keyboard and there is round thing for the touch

That is a framework/android.policy.jar issue. If you send me it, I can fix it. Its just changing some 1s and 0s about orientation.

Just wondering why my phone basically went off the grid because one second I was using the internet having a good time. A little slow as 3g sucks ass in my area but now its gone to an incredibly slow crawl taking ten minutes to load Google and another 5 to load a damn simple search. Friend has a crappy evo shift that's getting insanely fast speeds and loading things fine. Same network same house anyone know what's up?

I think your best bet would try and do a fresh re-flash of your current ROM (using Calkulin's format all) , or Odin to stock then see if the issue still occurs. Of course make a Nandroid Backup if you do.
thanks I'll try that but I'm thinking the cyanogenmod 9 alpha 3 first. Been waiting on that for a while

That's fine, I was just saying the current ROM in case you wanted to stay on it. Perfect time to give any other ROM a shot and start fresh.
Just be careful and read the instructions first.
I flash other roms all the time thats not the issue feom what i understand teying to flash different modems till u find the one that works best is the way to go i have flashed about 5 so gb modems seem to work better fyi u can use ics and gb modems on a ics rom but if u r on a gb rom u cant use ics modems

So this is a port of the Sensation ROM? I definitely didn't expect to see something like this, whether it works or not... lol.
Any particular reason you decided to post this? Not in a bad way, I'm just surprised to see a Sense ROM brought over (non functional) with no intention for it to be worked on... lol. And I imagine that people are probably hooked on ICS right now, although I do kinda miss Sense... lol.
I'm guessing because of this topic in the general section

Nice!
Although it doesn't help us right now since ROM Manager doesn't support the Glide, at least not yet.
(P.S. if that situation changes, someone PM me and remind me to edit this post)
ROM Manager doesn't support most of today's devices. Even the Captivate Gingerbread is not supported...

CM7 would make me flash my Glide off stock. You've got me excited!
I flashed last night but ran into issues. Phone booted into recovery just fine but had issues with creating backups or fixing permissons. After I started one of operations, it would stall on the step and not proceed. Anyone else having issues?

I was wondering if there is a way we can pull the apk for google now into our phone after official arrives or will we have to wait for jelly bean? I know they had to do a revamp due to Apple but if there is a chance it would be nice to bring the original apk from jb. I appreciate any thoughts on this.

I have used it. It works but voice search will force close.

There is definitely a version for FF18... I have used it. However there is no voice functionality for it, "searching or reponses". I'm sure once they have a good Jelly bean rom if people want now without upgrading it will be available to others.
Here's a link to the thread where you can try out Google Now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224
You need to be rooted. It's a little buggy, and the voice search doesn't work, but it's fun to try out.
Not sure if many people were aware or not but Codename put out a ROM for our Sprint version. It's up on GOO and also if you just google Codename Android, his site will come up. Not sure why he didn't open a thread on here.
I ran his Roms on the Nexus and it was awesome, lots of customizations. It's more like AOKP as far as options as opposed to CM.
Edit: DO NOT FLASH YET, ISSUES BEING WORKED OUT.
