Hey guys. I am just looking for completely stock ROM but with an overclocked GPU and CPU. Does anyone know if something exists like that? I have looked through the Dev section but a lot of ROMs are tweaked a fair bit. Thanks in advance

Just flash a custom kernel only. You don't need a rom for that.

James Bond kernel by ogdobber is what you are looking for.
My grandma beat me down and took my nexus. Sent from a jitterbug with beats by dre.
Yes, use the kernel from Og dobber together with one of the 4.0.2 stock roms which are available here. I'm using this combination and it is working awesome.
But try first the 1.0.2 of ogdobber, because not every Gnex can handle the 1.01 or 1.0.

It won't work on stock because stock is on 4.0.2. OP, is there a reason why you won't use custom roms? You're changing the kernel, which will most likely alter your OTAs for future updates coming from Google. If you're going to mod, mod the whole way don't halfway it.

I like the pure google experience. Had issues in the past with FC and freezing etc with my old GS2 which left a sour taste in my mouth. I also get the feeling that tweaking the phone degrades its performance over time... could just be a placebo but it just feels dirty lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Actually I'm in same boat as the OP. Just yakju'ed my SGN (maguro) to 4.2.1, and wanted to know which is the best kernel to use of o/cing the stock Google ROM.
Have had mixed feelings about custom ROMs, so I just want to speed up the stock Google experience
Is there any voodoo sound kernel for volume boost, like the nexus and vibrant? I can't find it anywhere
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Yes. Try the "hitman" kernel in development section. It has voodoo+ support. Volume louder is the name of the app.

you want to use gunslinger 1.4.1 it has the same voodoo louder support that bman55 is talking about...it was the last regular kernel rogue put out before trying touch...you wont have any problems with that
Haven't seen anyone in our forum mention this. I just flashed it on the latest Darkside and its running smoothly.
For your knowledge.
Yes this works on the T989.
You need to flash the auto rotation fix to have properly working auto rotation.
If the camera fails.** I was informed that using the liboemcamera.so and /system/lib/hw/camera.msm8660.so.pulled from UCLE2 fixes this. ** Simply replace the existing files found in /system/lib and in /system/lib/hw
O/C and U/V work fine for me BUT DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!! I use system tuner from the market for this.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT USER EXPERIENCE WILL VARY, BUT THE KERNEL IS SAFE TO TRY.

I've been running it all day on my T989 all day.. I don't know how many times You guys need to hear that the Skyrocket and the Hercules is the same thing..
No special instructions. Flash the kernel. Then auto rotation fix.
However the Camera is fails. But that's a known issue with it right now.

Even TDJ had problems with his Alpha Kernel. He had an issue with camera not working on his initial release also. This is a developers forum. Issues are expected unless you see FINAL in the title or OP.

All you do is flash the kernel and auto rotate fix and reboot. But only for touchwiz roms, not AOKP or CM9

So I am new to the Note 2, Coming from the galaxy s3.
I knew a lot about my s3, what to flash, and what not to flash.
I knew what kernels where good and which aren't.
I am hoping someone can point me towards a good kernel for asop.
Well I am running the new Paranoid Android Rom for the Sprint Note 2.
I love the phone, its great and responsive but I would like the ability to Fast charge
my device as well as touch to wake Sooo anyone care to point me in the right direction....
