[Theme] transparent/semi-transparent/Black statusbar for jpy/js3,....

hi..... I created clear status bar and tested it in darkey 9.1 and looks good

how to install:
download zip file and extract it
(first backup your files)
and move files inside it....... to system/framework and replace it
with root explorer and reset your phone

has anyone tried it with doc's rom.

I think it may work on any deodexed Rom.

Works on Doc's JS3
After first reboot, it cannot find SIM. Do reboot again and works.
Icons on Extended power menu changed to battery gauges but not a big problem.

Notification bar become unreadable on white background apps like GMail.
Battery gauges changes between 0% and 100% only while charging.

To victor711: Please mate could you make this status bar semi-transparent? There in this xda-forum was one topic about this, but doesn't function

yeah i would love that too!

Very easy. Download Glass Status bar and follow the instructions. Works on all roms.

I've seen some posts asking about removing the damn clock from status bar in gingerbread. I've searched and find out it's possible and kinda simple. So i did it
Below you can see the results, and below them you got instructions and download.
This mod is for deodexed JVH only! Flash it over JVO/JVB/JVK etc, or not deodexed JVH, and you got a bootloop ready.
Tested only on GT-i9000.
Theme is only modded for "no-clock", and few icons:
- WiFi icons / signal icons / battery icons
ZIP's are for CWM3.

Ok, lets go:
1. Backup your files!
FOLDER: system/app
-MediaProvider.apk
-Settings.apk
-SystemUI.apk
FOLDER: system/framework
-android.policy.jar
-framework.jar
-framework-res.apk
2. Be sure to copy both flash files to your storage. The "no-clock" and the original theme! If something goes wrong you can always get back to recovery by using the 3-buttons combo and flash original theme. Please keep that in mind!
3. Go to recovery and choose "install zip from sdcard". Then tap "choose zip from sdcard", and navigate to 'XWJVH_Gingerbread_v6.1-noclockmod.zip'. Flash it.
4. Go back in recovery and reboot device. Voila!
BEWARE! - First boot is long - even 5min. It's normal, don't panic!

I would not be able to compile all of this is, if it wasn't for Paul627g and his post in Epic 4G farm here on XDA-dev's. Great job finding that mate!

If someone want to see it in other samsungs GB based rom just notify dev's about it, or... do it yourself!
In Paul627g post theres a short but very good tutorial on how to disable status bar clock. From me one tip: to properly decompile "SystemUI.apk" we need "twframework-res.apk". And thats it. Good luck!

These not, but mod can be easily applied in other roms / miui.
Never used miui before, but don't miui have option for hiding clock in statusbar?

Open the zip file. If there's folder called META-INF then flash via CWM

Find a solution for resolve this problem !!!

same here, bootloop,
but strangely after phone seems booted alright, it suddenly jumps into the loop.
But the themes is applied, can see it for a few seconds before the loop attacks^^

(you can only copy/paste to system partition if you are s-off, but you don't really need to mess about with this)
i recommend following the instructions.

I downloaded And flashed, But the color choosen by me is White, could Not get the Same Status bar as like that , If anybody have that kindly do me so......

Are you trying to an all white status bar?

I like the Status bar present in the ZTE Blade, the Stock androd status bar in 2.3. I like thos represntations, thats why i need this in my HTC. but the color i choosed was in white. I dont get that gradient in my ut kitched creation

Download a zte blade rom and get img of the status bar and manually edit it into your HTC system.ui

UPDATE - Added orange pack

Failed in TWRP
I tried to flash the rasta 1 but i receive a "failed" message in TWRP, what i did is:
Downloaded the zip file to my sdcard
Downloaded zipthemer
chose my rom in settings edify and configure
chose the downloaded zip file (rasta)
built it
then rebooted and flashed --> failed error
any help would be appreciated.. thanks!
I am on 4.2.2 by android revolution btw !

Sounds right, but I cant explain the error. I'm on 4.2.2 and using Twrp and it works for me.

worked finally
After many trials the problem was with the current rom i was choosing in edify (android revolution 10) .. After i chose rasbean jelly in edify it worked although I am on 4.2.2 . I would like to thank you for the awesome colors and I have a request and I duno if it can be done .. But Can you make the same colors for the Battery/clock/signal ? Or it cannot be changed through the same process ? If it can be done please make one for the rasta colors it will be amazing! Thanks :fingers-crossed:

Yeah, I could do the status bar just not the clock. I would have to edit the SystemUI XML and ZipThemer doesn't support xml's.
