How have you tried getting into recovery? Can you boot Rom? Have you tried adb commands?

Yes, I tried to get into recovery from hboot, but it just showed a black screen. Since I can get into neighter recovery nor normal system, I can not use adb commands.
I also tried to flash PD98IMG.zip in hboot, I failed to get into recovery or normal system again.
Since I can only see the HTC Logo or hboot, I wonder if it is a hardware problem. Anyone got an idea?

Why Is the Ruu failing? As You are S-OFF And have supercid, You shouldn't have issues flashing an unbranded Ruu. Maybe You have a hardware issue?

I think RUU also need recovery to restore the phone. I think there could be a hardware issue. But A main board costs nearly $80...

If the RUU flashes with no error at all and the phone won't boot then it is a hardware issue...but tells us how you did it...

[Q] My HTC One X stucked on the 'Quietly Brilliant' screen.

Hi everyone!
I'm a noob I do admit first of all.Recently I wanted to flash custom roms on my phone. So essentially I had to unlock the bootloader first.I managed to do that and even get the CWM recovery.img to flash.I installed CM10 Nightly but I got a bootloop. As I found out,I needed to flash the compatible boot.img for it to boot up.But here's the thing.I was pretty sure I flashed the right img,but now it just stays on the white 'Quietly Brilliant' screen. After locking and unlocking the phone again,it was supposed to reboot and start normally right? But that wasn't the case for me.Now it's stucked on the 'Quietly Brilliant' screen and doesn't boot up.I can go to the bootloader and CWM recovery, but apparently there's nothing for me to backup from there. All the error message I got was "no such file"
This was yesterday and I left the phone to charge for the whole night. This morning I saw the LED light indicates it's fully charged but I'm still stucked on the same screen. What can I do to solve this? I can't even mount usb from the CWM recovery to do manual installation of roms or files..Please can anyone help me?
I'm using an iMac and my phone is the international One X.And what is a RUU? Do I need that now and how do I get it and know if it's the right one? I need this phone to be up ASAP as I'm using it for work too.Ya,I don't have a spare phone. Please help. Thanks a million, much appreciated.
Did you erase cache from fastboot?
Fastboot erase cache
I'm pretty sure it will boot after that.
You should be able to mount SD as USB, you need cwm 5.8.4.0.
just Extract boot.img from Zip file you flashed, save it to Fastboot folder then flash it.
fastboot flash boot bootfilename.zip
I guess It may help you.
Press THNAKS if you like.

I'll quote myself at this. You're the third this week.

The Fail_PU is sign of a radio brick. A radio brick is difficult to overcome. Few phones get rescued from this state.
First, try the 2.3 RUU a couple of times:
http://www.htcdev.com/process/legal_download/152
If it doesn't work, try putting the phone in the freezer for 10 minutes with the battery taken out, and then imediatelly try the RUU.
If those don't work, then you will have to try to flash a lot of wwe RUUs from here: http://www.shipped-roms.com/?category=android&model=Bravo
Good luck!

The Ruu keeps saying that i need to get the right RUU version. But my phone is unbranded so any WWE should be fine right. I already relocked the bootloader through fastboot, so that is not the problem.
I hope that one of you is able to help me.

Well the problem with this is that im relocked, and i have no idea how tu un-relock it. I googled for it, but could not find a clear anwser anywhere.
Edit 1: I've tried to run the ruu with a goldcard i created, but i ended up with the same result. I find this very strange.
Anyone who can help me out with this pls
Re-unlock the same way you unlocked the first time, with fastboot. How did you make a goldcard and what RUU?

So using HTC-dev again, i created the goldgard using the goldgard img helper ( cant remember by who, but he deserves the credits). And then used different ruu's. But the one i ended up using was RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1 and then the radio and such.

Update: now i am at the "quitly brilliant" logo, but stuck there for another few minutes. See what happens, can it take this long for a first time boot after RUU install? Taking now over 10 minutes.

Give it a few more minutes. If its still stuck try this (I'm not joking):
Remove the battery and put the phone in the freezer for ten minutes. After the ten minutes have passed, take the phone out of the freezer and reinsert the battery. Immediately after, turn it on and see if it boots.
Sent using xda-developers app
Before I put it in the freezer i got so far as attached pics. But it was frozen, couldnt swipe to unlock. After I tried the "fridge" method. still it hangs up. Maybe its time to declare this little puppy dead.... Spend already 3 days on its revivial hehe.

Hello guy!
Today i bought a broken DHD. It's stuck in a bootloop. It had Unlocked bootloader but i locked it back and it is S-On. I can get in to fastboot and recovery (It has CWM). It apears that some1 tried to flash CyanogenMod and failed. I want to flash a RUU to make it work an then root and so on...but i can't find the right one...every time i get error 131. This is what i get from fastboot:

Nope, but i figured it out... I just unlocked the BL again, flashed a new recovery with fastboot, then I installed the boot.img of the rom that i wanted via fastboot and then i rebooted in recovery and flashed the rom...and it worked. The phone booted and everything works fine.
Congratulations and thank you for explaining to others
