Firstly, how do you have 4.1.2!? Is that the leak you have?
And if you mean how do you stop the applications installed from the Play Store updating. You go into the Play Store > Menu > Settings > Auto-update apps > Uncheck.
If you mean the actual market its self, I have no idea.. But, they hardly ever release play store updates.

I flashed omega 7.1 I mean the actual market its self

Ah, then I'm clueless. The market rarely ever gets given an update, anyway. So it shouldn't make much of a difference?

I have a themed icon, it updated a few days ago and the icon returned to normal. I want to revert the version back and stop it from updating.

Google Navigation

Hi,
Is there a way to unlock google navigation outside the US?
thanks
There isn't an official way. Google for some reason doesn't let navigation work in many countries (including Greece that I live in).
With every update there is a modded apk around that enables worldwide navigation. Don't have it atm.The only drawback is that you have to find the apk with every new version in play store so that you have the latest changes.

It will eventually update itself or you can update it now yourself, the easiest way to do it is to follow the link through your phone and download the apk that way, just make sure you allow the installation of of non-market apps (Settings--> Security)

Thanks, mate. I knew how to do it, only wondering if it would come over by itself, or not.
Good news, anyway.

It would be nice to be able to remove multiple apps at once from the all apps list. Takes a while to clean up all the rubbish I've collected over the past 3 years otherwise

[Q] Updating built in apps in JellyThunder "Blackout" RC3 [1/1/2013

Hello, I've been using the JellyThunder "Blackout" RC3 [1/1/2013 which comes with several built in apps such as google voice, youtube, etc. The problem is I cannot update them through the play store, it is giving me an error message asking me to uninstall the old ones first. I would appreciate any guidance.

It was a pain to deal with for me as well.
I used ES File Explorer to delete all the apps with updates (that Wouldn't update) from /System/Apps, then reboot, then it would let me install the updated version.

New Play v4
old Play
So i think the new Play looks more like the old market than the old play.
I haven't used the new play so much, but the old one wasn't that fast, too. everytime i downloaded some updates lets say 4 the complete Desire stucks.
Install failed
I been trying to install the new google play for over an hour and every time it fails any ideas i removed the old version.

Copy the apk in /system/app, set its permissions to match the other apps in that folder, then reboot.
Play Store 4.0.26
md5: 0991490d2d600504ccd771dff60cc886
use an app like systemcleanup to move play store back to system/app, or do it manually with root filer explorer as above.
tested and seems to work fine (still nothing under categories here in UK as expected, yet to fully roll out, but otherwise everything works fine). clear app data and cache if it throws up errors.

the changes aren't that major, mainly cosmetic as far as i can tell and from initial 'reviews'
very easy to install the apk just to have a look though. if you're still having it crashing, try clearing data and cache of play store in manage apps.
