go into system files ( use a file exporer that has root propertys-root explorer-xplorer i really like this one it gives split screens so its easy to move from one spot to another and can also move from cloud accounts) in system/app/ find SystemUI.apk and most of ut roms images will be in there. just find ones want to change and change.
if using adb do command sudo adb pull /system/app/SystemUI.apk
god luk:silly:

Upload your framework-res.apk and I'll send you a .zip.
You can add this line to your build.prop
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 or let Jubakuba edit your current framework.apk

Good solution...
But the harder solution is "better" in that you'll still get ICS+ optimized menu buttons. (You know, the three dots. If apps see that you "don't have" a NavBar" they don't show the three dots...since that generally means you have a hard menu button).
Decompile framework-res.apk
/res/values/dimens.xml holds three lines in relation to navbar size. Edit all three to 0.0.
Profit.
For this person your edited framework would be best. In my case I use gesture to control back, home, menu & power off/on, so the build.prop is best for me.
How do I do that?

Use a file explorer to copy it from /system/framework/framework-res.apk
To your SD card.
Upload somewhere.
Send link.

Hey guys!
I am trying to figure our how I can replace the existent app icon in insertcoin 15.0.1 with ones I downloaded as a zip file. So I got jpegs with new icons I want to use. The icons should completely replace the old ones, not only make a new shortcut with i.e. desktop visualizer. Sorry for making a new thread for that. Don't know where to post it else.
Greetings,
Sinisjekkt

I think that this thread is more suitable for the Q & A section. And I have no idea how to replace icons other than installing some launcher that supports that option.

in order to change icons, you would have to swap the icons out in the apk that contains the icon you want to change(make sure you make the new icon the same size as the old one) then you will also have to change the icons for the app in also the in system/apps(systemui.apk) , in system/framework (com.htcresourses.apk) and (framework-res.apk) hope the helps
Try this app

Decompile system ui.apk, and replace the icons in res/drawable hdpi with the ones u want

or UOT, under icons, you can select your own custom uni colour ones.
you can change a whole lot more than signal bars if you like
extract systemUI.apk as above, and you can find individual png files to match colours.

I thought decompiling was confusing too at first, but it really isn't.
In your case all you have to do is extract the apk with winrar, just like you do with a zip file.
Then just replace the pngs and zip it back up.

already ones about, one in this forum probably few pages back now. Just make sure you pick the right version for whether you're on 4.1.2 or 4.2.2. I've got a 4.2.2 zip for trans folders somewhere, if i find it i'll post it for you

It's the plain apk, can't flash, but push via adb: adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app or use any file manager app to push apk
Make sure the "app" folder has read/write ON
Press thanks Button if u like it!

Two questions...
1. I can't get the 4x2 weather clockwidget transparent - the 4x1 is perfect. I used root explorer to replace the old one.
2. I had Sensation XE, and people (Elegancia team) had made a FULLY transparent clockwidget as in only contours and the rest including flips see-thru - is there anything similar out there for the One X, or is there anyone out there who knows how to make the flips of the clock transparent?
Looks very Nice
